SUPER SOLDIER TUTORIAL // Okay because I’ve gotten soo many questions about my previous picture of me doing super soldier, I decided to make a quick tutorial that shows you how to get into it! Warm up hips and hamstrings before attempting (compass pose, standing split and infinity pose are good poses similar to this to do beforehand).
✨Start in a high lunge (let’s say right) with the hands on the inside of the foot.
✨Wiggle the right shoulder underneath the right knee as much as you can and then plant the hand behind the heel when done.
✨Extend your left arm forwards and out on a diagonal for counter balance for when you shift weight forwards.
✨Start to hop the back foot in (or push off it in one push) to fully transition the weight to the right leg.
✨As you lift the left/back leg, take the foot into the right hand.
✨Straighten the right leg & point the left knee up to the sky.
✨Twist your torso to the left a little and take the gaze to the left.
