I drove up to Takhlakh Lake for the last time until the snow melts next summer. I was really wanting to get a shot of Mt Adams with snow covered trees and the Milky Way. The trees were perfectly coated with pillows of snow and Takhlakh Lake was frozen with snow drifts that led towards Mt Adams. Yes perfection! Ehhh No.... Everything was perfect except the low clouds hanging around. So a little disappointed I searched for a different composition and came up with this. I decided to embrace the low clouds and fog. Oh and seriously, two miles north were clear skies. True Cascade Mountain weather. We hiked to Blue Lake in the #giffordpinchotnationalforest We we’re headed to a different trail and missed a turn we didn’t realize it until we got to Blue Lake. On some days in the forest, you can see 100 yards directly in front of you but the tops the giant trees are hidden in a low lying cloud. I’m convinced it’s some kind of magic. 🧙🏻♂️🧚🏾♂️✨ Смотреть полностью
