Mums That Slay
So, this past week has been slightly traumatic and revolutionary. I discovered that unsurprisingly after 30 years of usage, my body is addicted to Topical Steroid Creams. When I innocently stopped using them, my body didn't know how to fight he eczema itself and reacted with such drama queen 👑 pathetics, I was left with skin that was angry, weaping, bleeding and infected. 😷 (See last pic)
I couldn't sleep because of the pain, I cancelled all appointments and walked to and from my GPs with my hood on and collar up. I cried big boohoo tears repeatedly.😭😭 As I joined #redskinsyndrome support groups and restled with whether I follow their long ass painful journey or work within the medical system. 🚑
I've chosen the latter to bring my eczema symptoms down to the low level I got used to in my 20s. I've managed to switch my referral to a better hospital and between my food elimination, daily stretches and gorgeous husband I will Slay this season. 🙌
So, this is me today. Makeup (green eyeliner) on the only part of my face unaffected. My skin, simmering dull and burnt looking, but my earrings are fly tho...am I right?
Big love to anyone facing skin issues. Yvadney x #MumsThatslay
