Today is a day we honor veterans of our armed forces. The military in America is loved so incredibly much by her citizens. Its truly incredible. Here are two individuals who have passed on a legacy for us to remember. Sgt Michael K Ingram of the US Army paid the ultimate sacrifice in Kandahar in 2010 during operation enduring freedom. Cpl Alvey K Joslin of the US Marine Corps survived WW2 attaining many medals and stories. The Cpl served on the Japanese front fighting on many of the islands including Iwo Gima He passed in 1998 due to his age. #veteransday#4thid#usmc#usarmy#military#sacrifice#veteransday2017#14thdefenseteam#neverforget#memories2017
Almost 8 years of my life was dedicated to the service of this country. Almost 4 years combined combat service in Iraq and Afghanistan fighting in defense of this great nation. Through all the trials and tribulations, the sacrifices mentally and physically I will never regret a single bit of it and would go back in a heart beat. I love my country I love my brothers I served with pst and present, I will never forget and always celebrate good and bad times. The better I get in my own healing process through therapy and everything the more I have learned to actually enjoy and embrace days like this. From the war of 1812 to the current and futures we as a country still face we will always be relentless in our pursuit of freedom. We always close in and destroy enemy forces that stand in our way and we ALWAYS raise our flag high. Happy Veterans Day 2017 to everyone who served (even the pogs lol) I love and miss all of you and wish we could do@it all over again! #veteransday2017#army#sniper#infantry#oef#oif#2ndID#3rdID#4thID#neverforget#wishicouldgoback
May we think of freedom, not as the right to do as we please. But as the opportunity to do what is right. This Veterans day remember everyone still deployed, away from family, fighting for our freedom!
Glad to spend Veteran’s Day with Aaron Obitts, we were on the same company in Afghanistan and read Detachment after together after I was shot and his truck literally blown in half. Paying around respects this Verteran’s day at Arlington National Cemetery. #ledbyloveofcountry#4thid#arlington#army#infantry#infantrymen
Done a couple different lines of work. Back when your buddy here was 11 bravo🔫 bout a decade ago #takemebacktuesday learned a lot the hard way. Be kind. Be calm. Your ways do not need to be someone else's or theirs yours. Indoctrination seems inherit so it behooves one to be always asking questions and expanding the mind. #muchlove#fortbenning...look at that dude haaa could of crawled through 20 miles of barb wire with a cobra snake for a neck tie #4thid#4-4 #oldivory#bakercompany
Throw Back... it’s funny, I recently hit my 10th year of service. 10 years seems so long yet it has went so fast. Good, bad and ugly. I’ve learned so much, accomplished so much and yet, on a larger scale I’ve barley scratched the surface. I know that I don’t know anything, and that makes me eager to learn more. Thank you Uncle Sam. #throwbackthursday#OEF2014#Kandahar#4thID#bigwaves#highTide#wavegang#operatorasfuck
