This is a bit of a serious subject but I hope someone out there can relate
somehow.
How many of you have ever experienced losing a loved one or know someone who has? The subject of death, loss, or grief is very difficult to speak or think about. 🤭💭
As you see, the keepsake locket attached to my bouquet from my wedding this year. If you get a chance to read the words, it’s an absolutely beautiful message from my deceased Mother and inside is a picture of us both. This way she could still be there in spirit to walk with my sister and me down the isle for this special day.
While my sister said her speech, you can see my facial expression which shows I felt overwhelmed at the fact that she wasn’t there to witness me getting married, meet my wonderful husband along with his family and friends, or be able meet her precious grandchild as I was pregnant at the time. 💐🌹🥀
My Mother passed away exactly 8 years ago today and every year as time passed by I always try to do something special in her honor to remember her by. In saying this, my Father also recently passed away and 1 year ago today was his funeral. To witness both of my parents being laid to rest forever is something that I would not wish on anyone. I miss and love them both very much. Death has definitely changed my perspective of life and makes me appreciate every moment I have on Earth. I will let their stories live through me. 🌎
For those that are trying to cope with a loss, I pray that your hearts are filled with unconditional love, your souls are filled with gratitude, your bodies are filled with great health, and your minds are filled with positivity and peace within! ❤️✌🏻
