A yummy pizza coming your way in 3, 2, 1... #gymshark66 Dough: 🐽 220gr spelt flour 🐽 1 egg 🐽 100gr low-fat greek yogurt 🐽 Dash of olive oil, vinegar, baking soda and salt. I topped mine with: 🐽 100gr lutenitza(tomato sauce will be just as suitable) 🐽 50gr mozzarella 🐽 100gr turkey ham 🐽 100gr unsweetened corn. The pizza turned out to be quite big so one can be split in 2 servings. If you want to make one just cut down on the yogurt in the dough which will let you cut down on the flour as well. But an extra class yesterday meant I didn’t get my usual back and triceps session in, so I added in a quick blast today. . 5x8 lat pull down increasing in weight each set supersetted with 5x8 tricep push down . 5x5 single arm row supersetted with 5x10 single arm triceps extensions . 3x8 seated rows with 3x8 rope cable French press . . Ohhhhh my gosh only a few more weeks until the #gymshark66 challenge is over 😭 • I’ve done pretty great with making my workout routine consistent and I’ve gone 5 days every week from the start of the challenge I think! It’s definitely becoming more of a habit, which is my goal. I know I won’t be motivated to workout every day but if it’s a habit and I have the discipline, I’ll get it done. 👊🏼 • I was going to do a HIIT and abs workout today but....... I have zero energy. So I’m thinking I’ll have two rest days this weekend to get me energized for Monday! • Also life is about to get extremely busy for me. I have a wedding in 3 months that I’m constantly planning for and I’m starting a new job Monday (FINALLY). I also want to keep posting on here and get certified in personal training this summer so I can possibly start an online program this year.🤪 • The whole balance thing will definitely be tough and keeping up with my workouts will get harder. But fitness is so important to me that putting it on the back burner is not an option! • Here’s how I’m going to keep my balance: 1️⃣ workout 6-7 AM Monday-Friday 2️⃣ plan my weekly to do’s every Sunday 3️⃣ choose one important task wedding or fitness related to get done in the evenings after work, if needed (don’t want to be working on many things at once or I’ll go crazy) 4️⃣ block out time to RELAX at least a couple hours a week 5️⃣ have a date night with @dereklamb5 at least every other week • Basically my goal is to stay organized, get all the things done, and still have time to do things I enjoy and relax. BOUNDARIES- what are thoooose? Sometimes when I feel lonely, I WISH I was a ride or die chick. I wish I had it in me to suck it up, tough it out and settle for the EASY option: just “make it work”. But... nah. 🙅🏻‍♀️ Instead, I have repeatedly SETTLED for less than I deserved, racked up trauma, decided I was fed up with the abuse, neglect, disrespect, etc., THEN made moves toward happiness... now I’m labeled as STRONG. I mean, I AM 💪. But I definitely do not recommend this trial and error method whatsoever. It’s exhausting AF. What I am suggesting is that when you’re faced with the decision to set healthy boundaries... don’t wait until you’re knee deep in an “oh shit” situation. The comfort of a relationship, especially during this Valentine’s day shenanigans, can be tempting. If you are struggling, please don’t let social media trick you into forming opinions on what a happy relationship looks like, especially your own. I often look back at my own posts and the photos I’ve taken, confused. Social media usually doesn’t illustrate the pain, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t/doesn’t exist. Set those boundaries! Get out of those toxic relationships & friendships... and surround yourself with TRUE, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Besides a significant other, unconditional love exists in the form of friends, family, nature, pets, PASSION, SELF LOVE and so much more. I woke up today with the resolve that today I wanted to take a break and make it a rest day... I slept poorly last night, my body is sore, and I’m just tired after a week of yet another crazy/demanding schedule. I was full of “justifiable reasons” aka excuses to not work out today. But as the minutes passed I became more diseased and realized that despite my “justifiable reasons” I needed to workout. So I grabbed my BCAAs and hopped into my @flywheelsports FlyAnywhere Bike and did a Method 45 ride with @thehealthyhustle. 50 minutes later I’m feeling 💯 better. #nofilter No, I haven't left this page completely, at least not yet🙃 Been focusing on other things lately as from January let's say. My fitness goal for now is to try to maintain my shape with as little effort as possible. But wait, aren't you supposed to grind and outwork everyone? Well, it's just a matter of perspective. I can finally say that I'm at peace with my physique at the moment. I like the way I look and more importantly, I feel great without having to calculate macros, kilograms, reps and so on. 😂 I think this was the 3rd workout in the last 13 days if I'm not wrong. It's safe to say that each workout is more enjoyable, especially when it comes to my joints health. I've also been quite ill the past couple of days so recovery was much needed. I'm planning to take this page to new horizons so expect less topless pictures and more insights into my life📽🔜 My main focus in 2019 is business and relationships. Fitness has and will always have its place in my heart. But at least for now, it ain t my focus. I'm also thinking to develope a workout program for people that want to stay in shape or progress at a lower pace by training twice or three times a week. How many of you are doing your own measurements? - The biggest problem that people have when trying to see progress is that they are not doing their own measurements. In terms of weight, body fat %, BMI or hip to waist ratio. - When your looking to reach or achieve a goal it’s important that you are checking your measurements every 2 weeks. Day 47 of #gymshark66 and I wanna talk a bit about having an ego when it comes to fitness. As someone whose been working out for a couple years now and feel very comfortable in the gym environment/doing exercise, it’s very easy to get into a mindset that I know everything and can do anything, but that’s soo wrong 🤦🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️ For example, I went to a legs bums and tums class in my local gym at home this morning and initially felt dissapointed that there was only 5kg dumbbells to use (as I would normally use a much higher weight) and realised most of the people around me were beginners... I expected to find the session way too easy, but that was 100% my ego speaking because it was actually pretty challenging and the instructor taking the class even had to give me a few tips on my form 🤭 You’re never too experienced or “fit” to take advice from a professional and there’s always room for improvement - fitness is a journey not a destination 💁🏻‍♀️ After the class I did some cardio on the treadmill and a couple @gracefitguide booty finishers before going home to bake some sweet treats 😍💪🏼 happy Saturday everyone xxx Смотреть полностью

I just use this for a few days while I get used to a lower calorie intake⁣ ⭐️ cutting chocolate out for the week - dark, white, milk, I know I don’t say restricting is key but I reeleleeeee feel like I need to clean up my diet and this is what I’ve been snacking on most this week⁣ ⭐️cardio... once a cardio queen always a cardio queen 👸 honestly love cardio when I get back into it but I always put it off ⁣ ⭐️generally eating a little bit better, making sure all my foods are a bit cleaner/healthier/ leaner/ more plant based where possible, no reason other than it helps to keep cals lower and this is what I need for a cut ⁣ ⁣ PLEASE if u see me eating high cals knock it out my hand coz I am having serious issues with just eating the world atm.. hah ha lol pls no really send me ur greatest advice for the first week of a cut 😩😂⁣ ⁣ Spending tonight watching the voice with a gin (won’t ever cut out gin heheh) ready for my PT course tomorrow. Thought my form was never good enough and I would hurt myself. 😬⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Whenever I DID squat I was getting nowhere close to depth. As years went by I decided to keep practicing and it has now become one of my favorite exercises.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Squats are THE BEST movement to build your legs. They hit the quads, hamstrings, glutes, erectors, AND core. In general it is looked at as one of the best exercises overall because it tends to burn the most calories. 🔥⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ❗️Doing squats 1-2 times a week and incorporating 1-5 rep maxes followed by 6-12 rep working sets have blown up my legs over the past year or so❗️ ⁣⁣⁣ I used to think heavy ass leg extensions, curls, and leg press was all I needed to build my legs. Getting prepared physically and mentally for my first ever NPC bikini comp is something im not yet used to. Ive never changed my diet this way or trained this way. Its SO important that I am keeping my body fueled and staying healthy during this prep. Listen Linda, ITS BEEN HARD. 😩 - Did yall know that if your not consuming enough protein, your body will literally start to break down your muscle fibers and use that to supply your body with aminos it needs? The next day I asked the hostel host where his fave coffee shop was. I walked the couple blocks & stepped into Fernando’s Cafe.☕️ . . There she was. A beautiful light grey, slender cat with a long tail. Her name is Misha. Fernando tells me she has been running the coffee shop for 14 years.🐈 . . Everybody has something they would love to change about themselves. & THIS IS NORMAL. ▫️ Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely think that we should all love our bodies & that no one is perfect so we should embrace what makes us unique 🙌🏻 but I also wanna point out that it isn’t as easy as a lot of people make it sound & although myself and many other women preach it- we all feel insecure sometimes! 🙈 ▫️ People will assume that because I’m slim and go to the gym that I couldn’t possible be insecure about anything & it’s just not true. ❌ and I just wanted to come on and remind you that you do not have to be okay all the time & feel body positive all the time- if you do THATS AMAZING 😍 but if you’re like me and have a bit of a down day sometimes, don’t beat yourself up about it! It’s okay & it’s normal and even the best of the fitness people on Instagram feel insecure sometimes; some of them are open about it (like @beccasillsfit & @krissycela - they both recently posted bare faced selfies to show their insecurities & I love them both for this!! 💜) ▫️ As my babe @krissycela says “your insecurities do not define you” ❤️ Смотреть полностью

Нет Спорт дал мне глоток элексира здоровья и счастья))) без тяжелого тренинга жизнь станет серой, лишь несколько причин заставит меня приостановится: смерть одна из них😬 ну и, пожалуй, рождение ребёнка. Тяжелые операции, инвалидность, протрузии, грыжи, больные суставы - это не повод обходить тренировки стороной, лишь повод добавить некоторые поправки в них Мне тяжело давалась реабилитация, все, кто не сталкивался с тяжелыми травмами просто не поймут, как это сложно - вновь учится ходить, сглатывать горечь от косых взглядов, которые кричат: НИЧЕГО У ТЕБЯ НЕ ПОЛУЧИТСЯ. Leg day from the weekend was a mad one! ___ Superset lunges with straight leg deads is proper challenging, and really get your heart rate up. I actually enjoyed it cos it’s different to what I’ve always done. There was 5 of us doing this together so it was a bit of fun and all that😅 ___ 1. Warm up on treadmill 10 mins 2. Superset Lunges x SL Deads 6 sets up and down 3. 80kg Straight Leg deads 1 x 20-25 4. Diet this, nutrition that... what’s everyone going on about??? Guys it’s actually quite simple. As a fire needs wood to burn, our bodies need food to grow and repair. When you’re training hard and putting your all physically and mentally in the gym, on the field or in any respective discipline - you’re putting your body through stress and strain. That’s how we grow. But this isn’t even the most important aspect of health and muscle growth - that’s where good old food comes in. 🍗🍖🍕🥗🍔🍳🥑 Your body needs macronutrients (Carbs, Fats and Protein), as well as, micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) to grow, maintain and repair muscle tissue. 🔨 Buying food, cooking it, eating it and then cleaning up is not fun (Okay eating it is 👀). Those who know, will know and will back this 100%. 😪 It’s easy to stop at McDeez for a young Big Mac, but that’s what you want in that moment of hunger because it’s tasty and ready to eat. Not what your body actually needs. Having a meal ready and prepped to eat with all the good nutrients needed is a win-win. It took me some time to realize this through trial and error. I can confidently say that the meals prepped by @theleanbox.co.za are helping me take my physique to where I want it to be. 🙌🏼 Good things take time. Delayed gratification is far more internally satisfying then instant gratification. Work on yourself. Work on your goals.
