I'm about one week's worth of work into "Unseelie Court: Gluttony!" She's the one I sketched out as part of my live demonstration at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival =) "Unseelie Court: Gluttony" - the sixth of my Seven Deadly Sins subset of my "Unseelie Court" series. You can see all my existing Unseelie Court paintings (the Apocalypse series and also the previous Sins) on my Strangeling website (link in profile, just type UNSEELIE into the Strangeling Search Box), to give you a good idea of the general feel and theme to the collection.
As with the others in the series, there are a combination of Art History depictions of "gluttony" as well as some contemporary ones (the distant background will look like a US highway exit just chock full of fast food restaurants against the sunset, lol). I've finished the Still Life de Heem side of her skirt, and am close to finishing up the Cornelius de Vos "Bacchus" side of her skirt, showing a the plump god riding on a chariot with a bunch of fauns/Satyrs. I am having a blast with this one!
I am already taking down "first dibs" names for collectors interested in the original painting. If you are interested in being on the contact list for the original painting (I am selling it myself, she is not destined for any specific show or gallery) - email me directly at JasmineToad@aol.com with the subject line "Unseelie Court: Gluttony". Like the other Unseelie, she will be 16x20" original acrylics on panel, she'll be priced at $6800 (or $6600 if you prefer her unframed). We do already have several names on the list from Patreon, but in case the first responders pass I am still taking down names!
Speaking of the Unseelie - those of you interested in the series might also note that the original "Unseelie Court: Sloth" is also available, she is hanging at the Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles - email Sherri - Sherri@coreyhelfordgallery.com - if you are interested in "Unseelie Court: SLOTH" - one of the rare pieces of mine with a primary figure with her eyes closed ;)
