Truth? I used to feel guilty for taking a break. Yep. My policy was no work nights off, and you stayed up until it’s finished.  I’d convince myself that if I just pushed a ‘littttttle’ harder it would make ALL the difference. …like it was flippin' life or death if I didn’t hit publish on my blog on time?! 🤦🏼‍♀️ If there was blank space in my calendar, I’d fill every gap. I’d cancel on holiday plans, and wouldn’t even chat with a friend for 2-minutes. I mean, forget it! I had ‘things to do’. But did I really? Or was I just trying to ‘fill myself up’ with external distractions so I didn’t have to face the REAL stuff that was bubbling within me. And before this happened with work...it was with food. Being structured with food gave me a ‘sense' of control… It made me feel like no matter what went on in my life I could at least stay on top of that one thing! But the truth is, we actually don’t have control over shit. End of the day life is going to do what it wants to do, no matter how hard you try to manipulate the situation. And when it really comes down to it… are you even enjoying this controlling ride you’re on anyways? Because from where I’m sat… giving yourself the space to take a night off work to enjoy a movie in the park with your doggy while eating @fourallicecream peach sherbet is far more fun than sticking to a meal plan or working yourself towards exhaustion. 🍧😋 If you put yourself in a box, how will you ever have enough room for cartwheels? 🤸🏼‍♂️ You feel me? 😘👌🏼

I absolutely love this tea. You will have heard many, many times that you should be drinking at least 2 litres of water per day. This is purely a guide to remain hydrated. - - To claim that staying hydrated is a struggle is a false claim. Because you manage stay hydrated every single day. You perhaps just choose to hydrate on liquids which contain water and other ingredients with calories. - - What’s actually going on here is a self-persuasive bullshitting regarding the actual logistics of acquiring water and consuming it for the liquid it is. In your head, 2 litres of water has become the equivalent of a despairing lake of grotesque drivel. You cannot comprehend it. ‘Hydration is hard’ etc... - - Meanwhile, you galavant around with a couple of latte’s. You sip back some orange juice at your desk. A ‘healthy’ smoothie because you’re a hipster trying to lose weight. Maybe a soft drink over dinner? A couple of wines to take the edge off of a tough day. 2 litres of liquid consumed with ease. 1280 calories later. - - This specific consumption of 1280 calories via liquids is not bad. It is what it is. In fact, most of these tasty drinks on the right do contain water, thus you will likely be hydrated as a result. But if you’re trying to alter body composition, you have to ask yourself if the enjoyment and calories in these drinks correlate to your desired body shape. If the answer is yes - that’s cool. If the answer is no - here is an incredibly easy opportunity to create a calorie deficit. - - Being hydrated is as critical to remaining alive as a calorie deficit is for fat loss. If you do want to lose fat, it might be a good idea to be aware of the calories you consume from liquids, then source some lower calorie alternatives that you enjoy. 👉🏼 200g fresh strawberries (for health)
👉🏼 Hot sauce to taste

🤷🏻‍♀️ Not sure what to do with all that stuff? Don’t worry, I gotchu!

Scramble all the eggs up (with the spinach), and fry up your ham as the main dish. Wash off the strawberries and put them in a bowl or on the side of your plate. That’s it. Simple AF, am I right?! Lol…

Tonight’s dinner: spaghetti with chicken meatballs 🍝 . . Healthy burger and fries 🍔❤️🍟 Recently I have been really craving a burger, but even the “healthy” veggie burgers out there are still packed with fat and preservatives. So, I decided to make my own :) Vegan Kaiser bun with a homemade black bean patty, topped with @daiyafoods cheese and lettuce. Also cut up a sweet potato and baked it with some smoked paprika. I could have gone somewhere like South Street Burger or had the new A&W veggie burger, but I know the ingredients that went into this meal and it was all under 600 calories!
