I am obsessed with all-things-space, which is a simple way of saying:
I am absolutely obsessed with the infinite, the endless, the vast, and the unquantifiable purpose we hold simply by being *among* such wonderful and magnificent celestial bodies.
Tonight, I got to go to one the "dark sky" parks in rural Pennsylvania - Cherry Springs National Park. I was immediately captivated by how perfectly beautiful the stars seemed to just paint across the sky.
I saw Saturn, up close, through a telescope. So close in fact, I could make out the exact rings that encircle it. Saturn is super super important to me.
I saw Hercules' star cluster.
I saw Jupiter.
I saw the craters of Moon.
Then. Out of nowhere. A meteor skipped across Earths atmosphere, right into our field of view. The biggest, brightest, longest tail just lit up the sky so bright that everyone went speechless. We couldn't believe our eyes; we thought it was fake. 💫 🙈
I had instant tears in my eyes.
These moments are so rarely seen, let alone experienced in the company of others. It was purely magic.
I will never forget it. ✨💜
