Freeze fruit to use instead of ice cubes. Buy frozen or freeze fresh fruit. This makes a huge difference in the texture. No watery or icy consistency!
. Avocado makes smoothies โpudding likeโ and gives it a creamy appearance and you can barely taste the avocado, but get almost all the benefits! Try freezing this too! . Invest in a good blender! Use ingredients that will keep you satisfied and full: protein source, healthy fat, fiber and something green. Smoothies should not just be loaded with fruit as they raise blood sugar and do not keep the body full. Can they be part of a smoothie? YES. but donโt go overboard!
