Peacock Katydid - the genus Ommatoptera, besides possessing incredible leaf camouflage as already shown here, still hides breathtaking colors and patterns under its wings. That's why they are commonly named "peacock katydids".
Not all bees make honey. In fact, the ONLY species that makes honey is the European Honey Bee. Not all bees live in hives. Nearly 70% of wild bees nest underground. In North America, most of these ground nesting bees are active in early spring. Nests can be identified by a small hole in the ground surrounded by piles of dirt.
