GF Dumpling Wrapper Recipe 🥟🥟🥟 ⠀⠀ ⠀ This recipe made 16 big dumplings for me and they were delicious and easy to make. ⠀⠀ ⠀ * 3/4 cup tapioca starch (also called tapioca flour) * 1/2 cup gf plain flour rice flour * 1/2 cup white rice flour * 1/4 teaspoon salt * 2/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon boiling water * 2 tablespoons vegetable oil ⠀⠀ ⠀ Directions: ⠀⠀ ⠀ Mix the dry ingredients together well. Pour in the boiling water and oil and stir with a spoon to mix and also release steam and heat. As soon as the dough is cool enough to touch, knead with your hands in the bowl for about 2 minutes until the dough is stretchy, smooth, and shiny, and has pulled away from the sides of the bowl. Put the dough immediately into zip lock bag or cling to prevent moisture loss. Cut into 16 balls. Roll out and put filling in - we used chicken mince with cabbage, onion, ginger and coriander. Put dumplings into a pan filled with 2cm if water, bring to a simmer and put them into water. Takes about 10 mins to cook (water to absorb) and you can crisp up the bottoms if you like. Root vegetables are full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. They are a great source of vitamins A and C and are a good source of the mineral, potassium (which is something a lot of us aren’t getting enough of). 🍠 Public Health England recommends that adults consume 30g fibre a day. Root vegetables can be an excellent way to meet that target and maintain good gut health! 🍠 So what about cooking? One option is to peel and cut them up in to 1 inch(ish) cube sizes, drizzle with olive oil, add rosemary and thyme (or spices of choice), a pinch of salt and pepper and oven cook for 45-60 mins at 180 degrees C fan / 200 degrees C gas👌 🍠 IBS? My #keto lunch today: #### Organic collard greens 🥬 made in my @instantpoto fficial. I triple washed them. I tore them off their thick stems. I add filtered water to IP. Just enough water 💦 to cover the bottom, then added approximately 1.5 TBSP of @braggsacvhealth raw apple cider vinegar + added a teaspoon duck fat to water then added collards greens 🥬 (about 2 cups). I added approximately another teaspoon of duck fat on top. I sealed the IP then cooked them on manual, high pressure for 75 minutes. Duck fat softens them up. ACV cuts the bitterness just a little. These are also #FODMAP friendly. #### Ground pastured pork from @wholefoods sprinkled with pink Himalayan salt. #### I love my instant pot!! Three of my biggest IBS triggers are wheat, onion & garlic. This often takes the fun out of eating out for me. So many restaurants now offer gluten free menus which is amazing!! However many of the gluten free choices contain copious amounts of onion and garlic. So for me cooking at home wins over eating out everytime!! When I cook at home I rarely feel like I ever miss out. I’ve learnt lots of ways to substitute so thought I’d share how I create Spaghetti Bolognese 😋 - Instead of pasta sauce from a jar or packet which usually contains lots of onion & garlic, I make the sauce from scratch. I use tinned tomato’s with dried herbs and spices. -In replacement of onion & mushrooms, I use chopped up carrot and celery to bulk out the meat. - I’m not a huge fan of gluten free replacement products, especially bread or pasta. So my other go to substitute is “boogles” (butternut squash noodles) or corgetti! forever wishing there was champagne in my cup rather than coffee- is it happy hour yet??🥂🙋🏻‍♀️. . . . just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to all of you who reached out after i posted a vulnerable (and embarrassing) picture of my distended stomach to my story the other day. this week, i’ve been SLOWLY reintroducing high #fodmap foods back into my diet & it hasn’t been the easiest for me, mentally or physically. my gut healing journey hasn’t been perfect...aka the peanut butter cheesecake, ice cream, wine, & champagne i had on vday definitely weren’t #lowfodmap or gut health friendly, but indulging with my friends + boyfriend did make my heart happy & let me live my damn life ✨. . . . this week was a perfect reminder that despite a super strict diet for health purposes (sibo/ candida for me)- there is also a time and place to let yourself be human & eat in a way that makes you your happiest self || love you all, happy weekend 💕 xo Смотреть полностью

Most of us envision a glass of milk or a hunk of cheddar and think these represent dairy as well as lactose - and they do - but these foods have some very important differences when it comes to FODMAPs. Here is a partial list of the most popular #lowFODMAP dairy items that you can enjoy. ⠀ . ⠀ .⠀ - 2%, 1% or skim Lactose-free milk ⠀ - Lactose-free yogurt, cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream - Brie, Camembert, Cheddar, Colby, Goat cheese, Havarti, Mozzarella, Pecorino, Swiss and Parmesan cheeses - Small amounts of haloumi cheese, heavy cream, whipped cream, traditional ricotta, and cottage cheese⠀ .⠀ .⠀ Take away points: hard cheeses are Low FODMAP, while other dairy products made from cow’s milk (ice cream, cream cheese, yogurt, sour cream etc.) are high FODMAP. They deliver too! Before I made this sandwich I discovered that peas are low FODMAP in a small portion (under 16g) which is life changing, I don’t know about you but I love peas! I was so excited to make these! I literally took my same recipe from the corn muffins and added some cinnamon and blueberries and thought 💭 what if I made the muffin into a donut shape instead?! Why not right?! I really like how it changed it up just by adding those two extra ingredients and of course a donut shape is always fun! I totally over estimated the amount of batter and made an insane amount muffins and “donuts” 🤷🏻‍♀️. Hope the fam is hungry!! Check out my story for some behind the scenes kitchen fun! Suas ações osmóticas e produção de gás causam distensão intestinal induzindo dor e inchaço em pacientes, com efeitos secundários na motilidade intestinal. A literatura científica mostra que a endometriose é mais comum em mulheres com síndrome do intestino irritável (SCI). Além disso, parece que casos desta síndrome podem ser simplesmente endometriose não diagnosticada, uma vez que essa ginecopatia pode provocar queixas intestinais semelhantes às da SCI.⠀ Os autores concluem que a dieta com restrição de FODMAP é eficaz no tratamento de mulheres com sintomas intestinais e endometriose.
