HOPEFULLY not any type of sugar induced cereal, pop tart, pancake, cafe espresso mocha choco latte (sounds like that song from Moulin Rouge)..... you know, the normal staple to everyoneâs morning routine...
So whatâs the big deal with all this sugar intake? Well......
Sugar=inflammation and inflammation=disease
Iâm talking ADHD, Autism, Alzheimerâs, Dementia, and the list goes on and on.
Did you know our ancestors (hunter/gatherers) consumed only 22TSPs of sugar a YEAR!! Today, the average American devours more than 150LBSs per year ð¡â¹ï¸
What can we do to change our sugary breakfast habits??
1. Work TOGETHER as a family and make a plan! Clear out your cupboards and do some research on healthy alternatives to slowly incorporate into your familyâs nutritional plan.
2. Add HEALTHY fats to your morning breakfast routine. Your ð§ thrives on fatty acids and so does your metabolism!
3. Get quality sleep in order to wake up and prepare a quick breakfast.
4. Parents!!!! Teach your oldest how to cook and make it their chore ð
5. ASK ME FOR SPECIFICS!!!!
