Parówki?! O zgrooozo! Tak kochani parówki też mogą być spoko! No nie oszukujmy się, mam dwójkę dzieci (jedno młodsze wyjątkowo absorbujące) i ognisko domowe do ogarnięcia. Nagle przychodzi godzina 11.00, jestem na nogach od 6.30 wyszykowałam Marie do przedszkola, nakarmiłam Hannę i zdążyłam już ją 3 razy przebrać wiec stwierdziłam ze warto byłoby wstawić pranie, mamy te swoje pół godziny na robienie kupy - tzn ona robi ja asystuje 💩, zaczęłam przygotowywać rosół bo przecież musi się gotować 5 godzin żeby był najlepszym rosołem, naniosłam drewno do kominka, ogarnęłam sypialnie i przypomniałam sobie że jeszcze nie jadłam śniadania. Aaale nie piłam też kawy wiec dobieram się do ekspresu okazuje sie że trzeba opróżnić fusy, nalać wody, dosypać kawy i kiedy już jest ta godzina 11.00 i dopada mnie głód parówka jest moim zbawieniem ! Takie życie matki.💪 A żeby nie mieć potem strasznych wyrzutów sumienia wystarczy czytać skład, wybierać te z najkrótszą listą oraz największą zawartością mięsa ja znalazłam swoje ulubione w @lidlpolska Takie ekskluzywne parówki podajemy w towarzystwie homemade keczupu oraz bułek owsianych z awokado i pomidorem 😋 Można? You intend to start something new and stop in your tracks before taking the first steps. — You make it about timing or come up with another excuse as to why you can’t do it now. — Or you slog through it fighting tooth and nail, not “seeing” any benefit from it. — Yet, in my experience it’s actually comes down to FEAR + CHOICE. — You FEAR the unknown, we all do. Your mind subconsciously works to keep you safe even when there’s no real danger. Anything new is a threat to your current way of being, your safe spot, your certainty and knowing. — Then there’s CHOICE. Your mind fights you to make choices. Making choices is your job, not the job of your mind. If you allow it to make choices for you, it makes them by default. Well that was rough. Did yesterday hit anyone else like a dump truck? I decided to take the weekend to rest and take it easy to fight off a coming on cold. I put everything aside including my morning and evening routines. What a fuckin' mistake that was. I felt brutal yesterday and was being reactive all day which made me super stressed out. From now on I'll using those extra days on long weekends to my advantage to get a headstart on my week! I have a CHALLENGE for you. . Does “eating healthy” seem SO overwhelming? It doesn’t have to be!! It’s about creating healthy habits. . My challenge is.... increase your vegetable serving by 1 each day. That’s it. Eat an extra 1/2 cup of vegetables a day. . If you don’t eat any vegetables then eat a half a cup. If you eat 3 servings a day, make it 4. . Don’t let the fear of the holidays make you freeze and give up any attempt at staying healthy. . Hope you are all having a fantastic week and focusing on the two previous challenges of meeting your daily calorie goals ➕ drinking more water! 🤗 adding these two goals to your every day will drastically change how you feel/how you look if you stay consistent💯⁣ ⁣ -⁣ ⁣ Today’s challenge may be a little more difficult, but nothing worth having comes easy right?🤔 ⁣ ⁣ -⁣ ⁣ DAY 3 CHALLENGE: Getting Rid of Temptation🚫🍕🍰🍦🍪🍫🍩🍿🚫⁣ ⁣ -⁣ ⁣ Check your pantry, fridge, freezer right now. How many less-nutritional treats do you have lying around the house??⁣ ⁣ -⁣ ⁣ Fun foods are more than okay to eat in moderation but keeping them in a place where it’s hard for you to control the temptation is just asking for some good old fashioned food-guilt and binge-mode. ⁣ ⁣ -⁣ ⁣ I try to eliminate buying chips, cookies, candy, ice cream, etc. altogether. The Results are in! What did we learn? Two Things! 1. Most of us likely aren't getting enough sleep. 2. That we are all very different. For years I thought I was good with 7 hours of sleep, for sure 8 and that's why I'm glad I did this. Since I've been training on a consistent basis and doing yoga, I've been waking up and still feeling exhausted. So I adjusted. Now when I wake up, I actually feel like getting up. I mean I could obvs keep sleeping but you get it... Waking up and feeling ready to get up is an amazing feeling! So give this a shot: 1. First things first; forget anything you've ever been told about how much sleep you need. I just read that Lebron James needs 12 hours every night!! Shout out the Lebron. 2. Tonight, Wed & Thurs sleep your normal amount and keep it consistent. 3. When you wake up each morning, simply check in with how you're feeling. Are you hitting the snooze button, are you still exhausted, do you need a bit more, are you fresh, are you #joefresh? 4. If you are any of the first three then for the next 3 nights give yourself an extra half hour to an hour. An hour if you're exhausted, half hour if you need a bit more. And remember to keep checking in with yourself each morning. 5. After 6 nights it's time to make the final adjustments. Do you still need a bit more or can you cut it back a bit? Make the adjustment and sleep that amount for the last 4 nights. If you need to do more adjusting go for it. The goal is to wake up and not still feel exhausted. Perhaps even refreshed! Many of us have been assuming we need "the standard" amount of sleep for too long and its #BS. And that goes for all areas of life. What works for them might not work for you and vice versa. Everyone is different! SLEEP. It’s got a life of its own...it has its own rhythm...& that dance can get out of sync for many reasons. For me it started with pain & my chemistry being off from Lyme Disease, then sleep became something I mentally & emotionally dreaded, & more recently it had become a pattern of staying up to do "one more thing.” 😣🛏 Our relationship with sleep can become a slippery slope & before we know it it’s become an elusive one, undermining our health. That’s why about 5 weeks ago I decided to do something about it. I signed up for an online Cognitive Behavioral Therapy based program both to help myself & to check it out as a potential resource for my clients. It seemed to be going well, but waking up with back pain has been derailing my best efforts some nights. I was getting all up in my head about sleep again, so I knew I had to work on making sleep desirable once more. Like remembering why we fell in love with someone! 🤕💕 When I started the sleep program I reinforced a rule I had gotten loosey-goosey about: NO ELECTRONICS IN MY BEDROOM. I had even been using my phone (on airplane mode) as my alarm clock, but no more. I don’t even bring electronics into my room & I bought this adorable battery operated alarm clock instead. Good start! 🚫📱💻⚡️ Next, if I really can’t fall asleep or stay asleep (the latter being my biggest problem), then I add on to my “freestyle” prayers with something more memorized or repetitive. If within roughly 15-20 minutes I’m not asleep, then I get out of bed & read in the living room until I feel tired again. ✨🙏🏼📖✨ Utilizing all of my senses on this mission, & knowing that smell is a very impactful one, I have been grabbing my @21drops “Sleep" blend, too. Do you or know someone who suffers from fibromyalgia? This pathology can be devastating for the sufferer. Multiple hyper sensitive points, fatigue, TMJD, nausea and more. Affecting women 2x as much as men and in total affects 2-8% of the population! It has been on the rise in recent decades but the reasons are convoluted between genetic and environmental stress. Difficult to diagnose due to the mixed research and subjective symptoms. Research shows stress and depression can play a major role, lack of physical activity and deep R.E.M. Sleep also have shown to be triggers. Obesity and poor nutrition is also a major issue and can trigger this disease. In clinical experience this pathology is unique and is indicative of lifestyle just like many chronic diseases are.
