On the go with this peanut butter banana breakfast bake this morning 🙌🏼 Packed with fiber and low in sugar, and so easy to whip up! Paired it with some coconut yogurt and extra nut butter. Recipe below •• Happy Saturday friends! ______________________________________ 1 cup rolled oats 1/4 cup buckwheat flour 3 ripe bananas 1/2 cup peanut butter 1 egg 3 tbsp almond or coconut milk 1-2 tbsp pure maple syrup 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (i used a broken up @eatingevolved bar) Optional: 1 tbsp maca powder for hormonal balance 1. Preheat oven to 375. In a large bowl, mash the bananas then stir in oats, buckwheat, egg, and maple syrup until well combined. 2. Mix in remaining ingredients. 3. Fill a parchment-lined 8x8 baking dish with the batter. 4. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Allow to cool before slicing. Recommend serving warm, but can be eaten cold as well.

g o l d e n m i l k w a f f l e s ✨// last night we stayed in and naturally, I was craving breakfast for dinner. looked to good ole faithful @birchbenders, the delicious chai nut milk from @bamboojuices and @live24k golden fuel and came up with this cozy combo! the dEATS: mixed the @birchbenders paleo mix with the chai nut milk from @bamboojuices which has honey, turmeric, black peppercorn, water, almonds, ginger, fennel, clove and cardamom 🙌🏻 couldn’t dream up a better combo if I tried. added in 2 tbsp of @live24k golden fuel which has turmeric + collagen and comes in quite literally the cutest packaging, mixed it all up and threw it in my @osterpro waffle maker and these babies came out. topped with poms and coconut chips! so good I had to make them again this morning 🙏🏻 have a lovely Saturday friends! hope your day is filled with good eats + sunshine ☀️// #matchaandmargs

Happy Saturday! DAY 6 COFFEE FREE 🕺🏼🎉 Thanks to essential oils (like Rosemary, Frankincense, and Motivate), and adaptogens (recipe for the this “Superpower Cordyceps Spice Latte” below), I’ve made it through this week without becoming a total zombie. 🧟‍♂️ When I first shared that I was taking a break from coffee for 14 days, I got a lot of questions. “WHY?!” For me, daily coffee consumption was becoming a problem and the unhappy side effects outweighed the benefits. ☹️ With my daily stress load not changing anytime soon, I found my adrenals were taking a hit. I also noticed that it was hard on my gut, exacerbated some inflammation issues, and I noticed my anxiety was starting to flare back up. After recognizing these things and listening to my body, it was easy to take a step back • • • SUPERPOWER SPICED CORDYCEPS LATTE 💪🏼⚡️ 1 packet @foursigmatic Cordyceps Elixir 1 tsp Maca 1/2 tsp Ashwaghanda 1/2 tsp Cinnamon 1 scoop Collagen (I used @drjoshaxe multi-collagen) 1 drop @doterra Cardamom essential oil 1 tsp Ghee (I used @fourthandheart’s vanilla ghee) 1/2 tbsp MCT Oil (I used @mynaturalforce) 1 tbsp vanilla @nutpods • Add all these ingredients with hot water to your @blendtec, and mix until frothy and smooth! I’ve been doing this unsweetened, but I found a small dash of @lakantosweetener does the trick if it tastes too earthy or spicy. Counsellors often ask their clients what their values are. This can be a really challenging question to answer because we often view beliefs and values as synonymous. When we think about values, it’s important to note they are the worth that we place on something relative to the worth we place on other things. Can you articulate your top 10 values which are most important to you? It can be easy to think of what we ‘should’ value... but knowing yourself and accepting what you truly value can take some effort. Today, I would like to encourage you to get a pen and paper (or open a notes app in your phone) and write down ten things that you like to do. Write the date that you last did each (if you can remember). How many of those things have you done in the last week? Month? Year? What is stopping you from doing it more frequently? How do you really spend your life? How do you want to spend it? When we learn about our values we can become more clear about why we make certain choices. When we understand our motivations and what we value we are better able to make decisions with less stress. [ 📷 @wellnessstockshop ]

Prana means energy and what I mean by assessing my pranic budget is that I will sit and write where I'm directing my energy. While this could be physical energy, it also stands for where mental and physical energy are being spent. Mainly, I want to be sure I continue to aim for the life I want to live. With that, I find it useful to periodically check in to see if there are places where I'm letting myself worry or overthink or question my worth (these happen to be my biggest sources of pranic leakage), and to make sure I'm taking time to refill my cup! Two-ingredient Berry Chia Jam! 💖💖 I recently saw the cutie @seankelley make homemade jam with my girl @tanyazuckerbrot and decided to give it a go. It is so easy and a great alternative to most jams that are filled with added sugar! I added chia for extra fiber and protein! How I did it... heat two cups of frozen berries (I used mixed) in a medium saucepan until they’re broken down (stir continuously and smash with a rubber spatula) and syrupy. Remove from heat and add two tbsp of chia seeds. Combine well and allow to sit for 10 minutes until thickened! That’s it!!

So last weekend I celebrated my birthday 💃🏻🎂 Now I know what some of you may be thinking... you can’t possibly follow F-Factor when you are going out to eat and celebrating with friends and family all weekend long right? 🥕CARROT CAKE WAFFLE TOAST 🥕 (but made from fruits and veggies, so YAAAAS) We mixed steamed shredded carrot with almond butter & a dash of maple syrup and put it on our grain-free, yuca-based Cinnamon #Swapple, and honestly, couldn't stop singing 'cake cake cake cake cake cake' 💃🏻 Not only was it so satisfying, but paaaacked with vitamin A & E. And what's better than getting to eat something that tastes like cake, but actually benefits your hair, skin, nails, and eyes at the same time? Nothing, I say.... NOTHING! ------------------------------------- 🌟 Try this at home! 🌟 1/4 cup shredded carrot, steamed and drained well 2 Tbsp raw almond butter, unsweetened 1 tsp maple syrup 1/4 tsp vanilla extract dash of salt shredded coconut, unsweetened chopped pecans (optional) -------------------------------------------- 1. This bowl was my everything 😍 ...finally made it (multiple times...whoops) to @honeyhi today. They use organic and local produce as much as possible, their menu is inherently gluten and refined sugar free, their pasture raised meat and eggs are always sourced from sustainable and local farms and they never cook with refined vegetable oils...oddly enough it’s hard to find places like this! Had “The Grain Bowl” and it was oh so much more than just a grain bowl...the za’atar tahini sauce and cashew buckwheat dukka totally took it to another level 👌🏻
