One year ago as I was wrapping up a final, this human asked if we could spend time together later that night. I declined (I was attempting to detox from him after a couple years of messy friendship 😊). He asked again the following day.
Curious, I said yes.
He asked if we could continue our adventures, only now, side by side.
This last year has been chock full of the ineffable kindness and joy of this God. And though it felt loooong in the coming, the goodness of the timing of it has become more clear, retrospectively.
It is so often that (in moments, maddening) unpredictability that contributes to the adventure of this life and I wouldn’t trade this timing for anything.
