Chocolate Protein Mug Cake 🍫🍰 I love all sweets so this hits the spot everytime, WITHOUT feeling guilty. 13C | 5F | 28P Add all ingredients in a coffee mug (or bowl - I usually prefer a bowl because it's easier to mix) ▪️1/2 tsp baking powder ▪️1/2 tsp vanilla extract (I use imitation bc it is cheaper) ▪️1 Tbsp PB2 (I usually use the regular peanutbutter but I've also used the chocolate peanutbutter which is great too!) ▪️1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (I found this organic brand at @freshthyme. Hershey's has an unsweetened option too) ▪️1/3 Cup unsweetened almond milk (can use unsweetened vanilla flavor too) ▪️1/2 - 1 tsp sugar free chocolate fudge pudding mix (I just started adding this and I love it!) ▪️1 scoop Level 1 - Vanilla Ice Cream is the best to cook with because you can add almost anything to switch up the flavor even if you're not a fan of vanilla! I've also used Peanutbutter Cup flavor which is another good one! ▪️1/4 tsp stevia (OPTIONAL) and mix VERY well!! Then microwave for about 30 - 45 seconds all depends on your microwave. I like to start out at 30 seconds then let it sit for 5 or so seconds then microwave again for 15 more seconds. How often should you train each muscle group? - Well for those of us that aren’t using anabolic chocolate syrup in our selfies. The answer is 2-3x a week. - A meta analysis analyzed 10 different studies and found that training each muscle group 2-3 times a week and sometimes up to four times a week for advanced lifters was best for hypertrophy (muscle growth). - Now let me clarify when I say 2-3 times a week. I mean with the same amount of sets spread out over the week. - Quality is more important than quality (this applies to other areas of your life outside the gym). - If you try and cram 20 sets of glutes into one day. - The amount of weight you will be able to lift at your 20th set. Will be much less than if you were to spread those sets throughout the week. - Lastly, shirtless gym selfies can hurt your gains. Jalapeño Popper Chicken Dip ⠀⠀ Ingredients: 12 ounces cooked boneless, skinless chicken breasts, shredded (2 Leans) 3/4 cup Fage 2% plain Greek yogurt (1/2 Lean) 1/4 cup regular cream cheese (4 Healthy Fats) 5 slices turkey bacon cooked and crumbled (1/2 Lean) 3 ounces canned jalapenos, diced (3 Condiments) 1/2 tsp garlic powder (1 Condiment) 1/2 tsp onion powder (1 Condiment) 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (2 Condiments) 1 cup shredded 2% sharp cheddar cheese, divided (1 Lean) ⠀⠀ Directions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine shredded chicken, yogurt and cream cheese in a medium sized bowl. Add crumbled turkey bacon, diced jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, Parmesan cheese and 1/2 cup cheddar cheese. Stir until everything is combined. Pour mixture into a baking dish. Top with remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheese. Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese has melted. NOTE: I serve mine with thickly sliced bell peppers as a “dipper” and count the toward my Green serving.
