here is a SUPER easy cream biscuit recipe to get you started! *sweet cream biscuits*
2 C all purpose flour (@kingarthurflour)
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp fine sea salt
3 Tbsp sugar
1 3/4 C heavy cream
preheat oven to 425° and line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper.
whisk all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. pour all but 1/4 C cream into the dry mixture and mix dough, with a large wooden spoon, until it looks shaggy. add the remainder of the cream, mix to pull the dough together.
turn over dough onto a floured surface and knead for 30 - 45 seconds.
shape into a rectangle that's roughly 12x4, with a dough cutter, cut the rectangle in half lengthwise and quarter each half so that you have 8 biscuits.
place biscuits in the prepared baking pan and bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden brown.
