Questions I get asked a lot: --When will you stop breastfeeding? --When he is done.--
--When will you stop carrying him everywhere? --When he stops asking for it.-- --When will you put him in his own bed/room? --When he decides he is ready.-- I love the connection that we share when I am breastfeeding him. Even though he doesn't use it for food any more I still love that I can sooth him in a way that makes him feel loved and secure.
Even though he is getting heavier I'm also getting stronger (in more ways than one). I don't feel the need to force him to be a big strong boy, when sometimes he still feels like a little boy who needs his mummy to be close, to protect him or just to carry him cause he is warn out and needs a rest.
Jason is getting bigger and taking up a lot more room in the bed now and sometimes that makes sleeping a little more awkward. But I would rather have him close by building our love and connection then to break this closeness and trust that I have spent 2 and a half years building with him.
In time he will outgrow these things and I will be filled with love and joy as I watch him grow and mature into an amazing young man, but for now these are the things that he needs and that he is asking for so I will give them to him until he doesn't need them any more. And I wouldn't have it any other way π
My precious baby Benny leading the family in prayer this morning. Best thing I've ever taught my kids was to pray. From my 2 year old who prays and thanks God for "our church" and everyone in his family to my almost 9 year old who prays for "all the people who don't have food in the world". I may not be the perfect example of a Christian, but I know that God is working on each and every one of our hearts and that is all I can really be thankful for. #NOTW#MorningPrayers#ChildOfGod#FutureManOfGod#LookAtGodsWork#BuildingBlocks#LayingDownTheFoundation
Reminding one another often of how important they are in your world is something needed for growth and lasting love. Today, like I do every day on my lunch break I rush home to spend 20 min to let dog out and grab a bite to eat... Walking in to a surprise of flowers and heart felt words from him, reminds me yet again how lucky I am, and grateful he's mine for keeps. We are laying down the foundation for a bright future together. β€οΈππ
Rt it is not easy & we all know that. Things don't go as planned 9x out of 10 but you grind hard everyday, stay focused, & always have a plan, a vision. Never give up & go hard every day cuz if you don't do it for yourself, then who will. #layingdownthefoundation FOR #success
Curious to why you're not where you want to be in life? Look at the 5 people you interact with on a day to day basis, are any of them laying down the foundation for bigger things? The day I cut out all the noise in my life and started associating myself with people who were getting more money than me was the day my mind opened up to a whole new game. You can be the one with the most money around 5 broke niggas or you can be the one with the least around 5 rich niggas and you bet your ass you'll be the 6th in no time and that's for both, you decide. #2015#layingdownthefoundation#whodoyouknow
