My time as Guests Moderator has come to an end - I have to go now.
I'll leave you with one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy it and thank you for all the likes, comments and follows throughout the weekend!! It was fun!!
Final Note: As I continue to grow as a photography, I strive to capture that "perfect" image using in-camera settings and zero post processing. Im not there yet... Until I get there, I'll continue to use post processing to enhance my images. "PhotoShoping" an image on the other hand is something I've stayed away from... until recently. I felt using PhotoShop to alter my images could be seen as a negative. I've changed my opinion on this and now lean toward this reasoning: I'm creating art, my art. A visual creation of my design. I feel using post proscessing software to create my art is perfectly OK if I choose, but, again, I value and respect the knowledge, experience and skill it takes to get the final product in-camera.
This Milky-way image is a western sky on an eastern foreground. I made an error when photographing the sky that night and I clipped the foreground making the image unusable. I captured a nice starry sky, with orange city light glow and a genuine shooting star, but I hacked across the tree tops ... A little PhotoShop magic and I was able to revive this interesting Hill Country scene. Both the sky and foreground were captured the same night at South Llano River State Park.
See you on the trails!
