I train back twice a week - the first workout consisting of deadlifts and a lot of rowing movements, and the second consisting of other hypertrophy work such as pull ups and wide grip pulldowns. Your back is such a huge muscle group so mixing things up with lots of variations is the key to making gaiiiiiins 💪 Today went like this: 1️⃣DEADLIFTS: 3x8 - Forgot to film 🤦‍♀️ 1️⃣Rope Straight Arm Pulldown 3x10-15 2️⃣Cable High Row 3x10-15 (We did a dropset too 💀) 1️⃣Close Grip Pulldown 3 x 8-10 2️⃣Wide Grip Cable Row 3 x 8-10 + dropset 1️⃣ Machine High Row 3x15-20 . . MAKING PROGRESS - If you want or need some coaching with your fitness goals be sure to click the link in my bio and we can talk about how to get you there. - Making progress in the weight room doesn’t always need to be “LIFT MORE WEIGHT ALL THE FUCKIN TIME.” Realistically, there is going to be a cap at the amount of weight your body will be able to lift unless there are some SERIOUS size changes. - There are many other ways to make progress in the weight room. One of my favorites is having more quality reps. Next time you go into the gym take 10% off of every lift and concentrate on having absolutely perfect form and muscle contraction. You will notice the difference. - For some people progress may just be getting to the gym 4 days/week in stead of 2. For others, it may be going up in weight to reach a new PR. - Just know this! - You only need the slightest little bit of progress to keep making gains. Just get 1% better each day. That’s it!
