It’s world Cancer Day today🎗 - Monday February 4 🗓
Prior to Sherry being sick, this day might have passed in casual conversation in our family but I wouldn’t have stopped to think 💭 about how important it is to speak openly about Cancer as a whole, and how vital it is to be aware of the signs/symptoms and the many ways to check for it.
I’ve become more aware of the ‘Cancer Community’ since Sherrys diagnosis, and even more so since her passing away.
I feel more comfortable talking about Cancer. Be it screening tests, types of treatments, hardships of living with it, and the multiple diagnoses there are.
Our ribbon represents ALL Cancers, an inclusive representation of the lives battling this disease.
Today, (and all days) be aware. Love yourself enough to get checked if you need too. Love the HELL out of those who are fighting. Love your life FIERCELY. Some people would give anything to spend one more day on earth.
Missing you Mama EXTRA EXTRA today.
