Meal pre Sunday is done! Whew! What a day!! . I start week 7 and I canโ€™t believe it. Itโ€™s going by soooo fast! . I made this week very interesting... which meant a lot of work. ๐Ÿ˜œ . Hereโ€™s the deal.... I have been really hungry. And I just couldnโ€™t get that feeling to go away. I have been debating whether I should go up a calorie bracket. And finally last Thursday, I couldnโ€™t take it anymore. I was extremely cranky and just hungry and tired. And it wasnโ€™t cravings... my body was needing more fuel. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Iโ€™ve put on quite a bit of lean muscle, and the workouts have been harder and I have been pushing myself and my body was trying to tell me it needed more. I was on the high end of the calorie bracket anyway... close to the next one, so I decided it needed to be done. ๐Ÿง . Itโ€™s scary to eat more sometimes, but Iโ€™m still in a calorie deficit... believe it or not. And my body is burning a lot with the muscles and workouts. So yay for a little bit more food. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป . Honestly itโ€™s not that much more....an extra green container, a red, and a yellow. But those make a huge difference. So for meal 2 of the day... Iโ€™m allowed a bit more. And I can go back to adding spinach to my shake for meal 1 which makes it even more filling. . So Iโ€™m excited to see how the rest of this week goes with more food. . Lots of great meals!! . Iโ€™ll try to go live tomorrow to discuss it. . We buy heaps of tomatoes on the weekends and make up a Napoletana sauce with the added addition of some onion, garlic and herbs. I love adding fresh herbs and of course essential oils. (I use a toothpick for the oregano so that it's not to powerful). Then we jar it up and have it ready for the weeks dinners. I love making tuna pasta or lasagne with the sauce. Despues de 40 min, aproximadamente, retirar la carne y separar SIN TIRAR LO QUE QUEDO EN LA OLLA, poner el arroz, con agua necesaria (dos partes de agua por cada parte de arroz), agregar 4 clavos de olor y tapar. Dinner tonight was lasagna! Fix-approved, easy, and so damn delicious, just not dairy-free. I served it with a side salad to get my veggies in, but you could also put a bunch of cooked spinach in the lasagna if you wanted to. I didnt have time to make the sauce so I used sauve from a jar: Organics brand roasted garlic pasta sauce- my favorite jarred pasta sauce EVER!!! Only 10 ingredients (one is water), no added sugar, and I can read each ingredient! I found this baby at Safeway and I count it as a purple. To make the lasagna I layered 9 whole wheat lasagna noodles, 15oz ricotta, 1 lb cooked ground beef, 16oz mozarella, and 2 jars of sauce (I mix the beef into the sauce). You can also do cottage cheese instead of ricotta if you prefer- it turns out great either way! Baked at 375ยฐ for around 30 minutes- Super easy and so delish! I remember being overweight sitting on the couch eating ice cream and watching the biggest loser * I was inspired because here these people were just like me and challenged to run a marathon * I was never a runner! * In school I was the girl who walked the mile in gym class. I had no athletic ability at all * I got kicked out of gymnastics at a young age because I had no upper body strength and didn't try * So I challenged myself to run a marathon * It started with the goal to run for 1 solid minute * Reaching that goal of 1 minute led to 5 minutes... * Then the distance came just run 1 mile * It took me 2 years to build up the endurance to run the distance * The point is you have to be patient with what you want to obtain * Take the baby steps along the way * Embrace the journey * It all started with 1 minute #goals #workhard #success

Here is my sad little meal prep. I will get the bulk of my protein before and after my workout. And the protein shake is just easier to take to work. I want to be stricter on my macros, but I have a sensitive stomach and just trying it for three days left me with so much stomach pain. Right now I am eating my safe food to get back down to my baseline with my digestive system. I am making sure I get at least 0.8g/lbs everyday and keep my fiber steady to help my stomach. Beyond that I am trying to keep my carbs and fats moderate since that is where my stomach is must comfortable. #fodmapdiet #proteinislife #girlswithmuscle #ortryingtobe #mealprep #wayroomanyclementines #chicago

Meal preparation done for the week. I like too cook in bulk and then eat as I got dinners are done each day since I like to cook fresh. But these are part of my lunches so it makes it easier. 1.5 hrs in the kitchen and done for the week mostly. ๐Ÿ˜Š That time I will save throughout the week which is truly the best. Oh and....
