Please Read ‼️ Share This is my client Star, she has been with me for three months. So many people get wrapped up in the vanity of fitness and forget what it’s really about. Getting fit is super hard from beginning to end, once you reach your goal you have to keep working out (people don’t tell you that often). How unfair is that? Fitness is a lifestyle and when you commit to changing your life your results will not only show on the outside but on the inside too. Star’s resting heart rate was in the red zone, According to a study for those with a resting heart rate up more than 80 beats a minute had a 45% greater risk of early death and people with a resting heart rate of 60 to 80 beats a minute had a 21% greater risk they found. Your heart is a muscle too and it needs trained, when your heart rate is beating at 90+ beats a minute your heart is working overtime which is causing more stress on your body. Those with a high resting heart rate are at much greater risk for cardiovascular disease. How much variety are you adding to your workouts? 🤔 _ In this video I added resistance bands to my bench press. Now this is not the only way to add variety to your exercises. You can change rep changes, tempo, rest periods, and even range of motion or angles for some lifts. However, the point of this post is to talk about the benefits of bands. _ Adding the band increases the load the further you move away from your chest because it is trying to pull the bar back down. It's a great way to work on your explosiveness or acceleration in a lift, which is extremely beneficial when it comes to power lifting moves. _ In most cases when you use the bands you want to reduce the actual 'weight' you are using since the band will increase the 'load.' Sometimes I have fun flexing. My body is getting close to where I want it. Still have a bit on my oblique/lower back area to get rid of until I'm satisfied. As I've said before, you only need consistency, progression, and a decent nutrition plan to get the results I have. Stop looking for the quick win. Instead make it a priority, spend 40 minutes on yourself 4 days a week, and everything else in life starts to improve. I don't do anything overly crazy. Basic exercises that push my mind and body through resistance and progressive overload. Always be trying to level up your life. Feel free to reach out for advice. The exercises you do don’t help you lose fat from one Place or another, so focus on ones that give you the best calorie burn & Best stimulus for lean muscle retention (so compound lifts 😉) ____________ 3️⃣ Make sure you’re in a calorie deficit. You won’t burn fat if you’re eating too much and while building muscle requires eating more, I recommend focusing first on leaning out and then building up. #Coretraining has come a long ways over the last few years. As a #fitnessprofessional and #strength and #conditioningcoach we owe it to our clients/athletes to stay on the forefront of programming and education. If you are still doing crunches in the gym you need to re-evaluate your #coretraining program. Core training has gone to #antiextension, #antilateralflexion and #antirotation #exercises. Utilizing this three-phase approach, you can address weaknesses, imbalances and alignment issues. Here my client is executing an anti-rotation, #Pallofpress, with an isometric hold. Some of the benefits of this exercise are: • Training your body to resist forces that may try to rotate or move in a way and direction that it can’t move safely • Often neglected in training, Isometric contractions strengthens the muscle but does not affect the muscles length. • Extremely important in sport performances where isometric strength plays a huge role like #Olympic weightlifting, #climbing, #skiing and #gymnastics. • In #rehab settings when you need to strengthen the muscle around the injured bone or joint and doing it without causing much movement around the joint. •••••••••••• Just a few things to think about as you explore different ways to train the core. Proud of my man Gianni who’s been working with me for about 7 months now. Today were all high water marks on Squat, Deadlift and Bench- which were a culmination of a 7 month build up. Of course at 3 RM levels there was some form compensation and reverting back to his old ways. Extension through the lumbar, knock knee on the right side, and hips popping up a bit on the bench. So what we do at this point? Go back to the high rep work , reinforce the proper foundation , now with more weight and other variables, and next time these 3 RMs should be crushed with even more load and efficiency. # Regardless, for a 19 year old, he’s got tons of promise ahead of himself with 1 RM estimates of : 205lb Bench, 235lb Squat and 275lb Deadlift. #CommitToSomething

It’s crazy when I look back at what I used to think was healthy. The picture on the left is me 4 1/2 years ago. At that time I thought I was in GREAT shape. I was running half marathons, eating a “healthy” diet of around 1200 calories a day and working out at least 6 days a week often times multiple times a day. This is what I was told healthy was. It was right around this time that we started trying to get pregnant with our second child. little did I know, that “healthy” lifestyle I was living was having a HUGE negative impact not only on my fertility health, but my overall health and wellbeing. Luckily for me I was able to turn my health around but it didn’t happen overnight. In fact it took years of eating more, working out less and taking better care of my body. Now when I look at my body at nearly 15 pounds heavier and SO much healthier, I’m in love with what I see. I LOVE that I have curves. I LOVE that I have muscles. I LOVE that my hormones are functioning properly and that I have a normal menstrual cycle. I LOVE that I can say with pride that I’m finally, truly in a healthy, happy place. Ladies, healthy isn’t about killing yourself in the gym everyday. Healthy isn’t about starving yourself. Healthy isn’t about being seeing a certain number on the scale. Healthy is about feeling good from the inside out, taking care of our body and loving yourself for who are. From my struggles, from my pain, from the lessons I learned it is my mission to help women discover true health and love themselves from the inside out! It stabilizes and assists in balancing. Squats, overhead press, sprints, the list goes on. It’s such a vital part of our body that we often neglect. During my workouts I do my best to stay on my feet as much as possible to engage my core. For example, instead of doing seated rows I prefer to do TRX rows and single arm rows. Then at the end of each workout, I always finish up with five minutes targeting the core. After having a baby your core is completely shot!! Just being three months out from having my third baby I have noticed how it’s taking even longer than the last two pregnancies to start feeling strength in the core. It’s frustrating to know where you physically want to be, but the strength might not be there yet. Don’t give up! Keep going! #core #coreworkout #nasm

Всем привет!😘 Не прошло и две недели😂, так приятно что многие интересовались и ждали мои посты 🙏🏽 Я снова с вами!😘 За это время столько всего классного произошло 😱 Самое главное для меня случилось - я сдала экзамен в NASM😱😍🙏🏽 National Academy of Sport Medicine 😊 Теперь я сертифицированный персональный тренер в Америке 🤪🇺🇸 . Правда сдала экзамен со второго раза. Первый раз ответила на 67% из 70((( было очень обидно, знала что могла лучше. Но ничего, второй раз я знала что сдам! И так оно и случилось!😍🤓 Моя мечта сбылась!🙌🏽☺️😅💥 Было очень тяжело, эти 4 месяца я ежедневно погружалась в учебу, выполняла домашнюю работу, решала тесты и учила новые термины, и все это на английском! 🤓🇺🇸 Это невероятный опыт и огромные знания⭐️💫тренировала своих подопечных, практиковала всё на американцах 😂, ох и попадало им 😃🤪 Я совершенно поменяла подход к своим клиентам, изучила новые программы тренировок и питания! И готова делится с вами, друзья!😊🙏🏽 За время прибывания в Маями, а именно, за 5 месяцев, я успела набрать клиентов на свои супер тренировки, обучится и закончить курс персонального тренера!
