Csórompuszta, Veszprem, Hungary
In the summer of 2017, I got the pleasure of being accepted to Hello Hood architecture summer school. During some intense 8 days of work, both participants and tutors get together to bring their ideas to life. The workshop itself is held in a small village on the countryside of Hungary, called Csòrompuszta. Due to its continental climate, Hungary is a place with very harsh winter and damn hot summers. To exacerbate those temperature differences, Csòrompuszta's topography couldn't be better: a wide open valley that was a boiling volcano during the day, and similarly a freezing desert at night.
To survive the after work hours and the night parties, we gathered all the wood derbies and set them in fire. Needles to say that the fire place was the center of reunion for everyone. In this picture, a young Asian participant heats herself next to the fire, while protecting her head with a hoodie.
