I read his article “100 Things I Learned in 10 Years and 100 Reads of Marcus Aurelius’s Meditations” and it absolutely sold me on the stoic philosophy and lifestyle (same with minimalism)- I genuinely believe finding a personal guiding philosophy makes you better at personal accountability. To me, the ability to hold yourself accountable is the most important thing in all areas of life - from business to your skincare routine (I can’t help you rewind the clock if you refuse to wear sunscreen 🤷🏽♀️) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Even though complete sun avoidance may lower the risk of premature photo-aging and skin cancer - you still have a life to live.
As long as you are wearing an SPF 30+ and reapplying every 2-3 hours (varies) you should be covered!
More ways to protect yourself while outdoors for long periods of time are: wearing UV protective clothing, sitting in the shade intermittently, wearing big floppy hats, and proper sunglasses.
Remember to supplement Vitamin D in your diet with nutrient-rich foods!

I think it’s SO cool that they’re sending out oils for people to try because they’re truly up and coming with popularity and will be implemented a lot more within the next few years.
BUT.
People are going to use this “100% natural essential oil” and say they don’t notice a difference. Kudos to companies for wanting to let people try oils, but if you swipe to the next photo, you can see the difference between the ingredients.
The brand on the right has fillers in it, which was obvious to me when I smelled and compared it to doTERRAs eucalyptus. It’s not pure and it’s not therapeutic grade. Luckily my friend has doTERRAs to use, but if she didn’t, she’d probably think I’m whacky for thinking oils work (like a lot of you do 😜).
In sum, not all oils are created equal! A label can say 100% pure which looks great, but until you see the ingredients or the testing done on the oils, you don’t know what you’re getting. Another reason I love doTERRA. They are transparent with their ingredients and testings done on their oils, so I know I’m getting the best quality to support my body and overall wellness 🥰
