In the homestretch of summer!
Per usual, itÔÇÖs been a mix of good family memories and not so good moments (like teen drivers driving the car through the garage door 襎čĆŻÔÇŹÔÖÇ´ŞĆ), moments of connection and times I hide in our hammock, strung together by a lot of just doing life together. čĺŤ
One of my goals every summer is to have the girls develop closer friendships with me and each other. I try to brainwash them all the time that their sisters are their best friends, but during the school year they are often too tired or socially saturated to want much to do with each other. But in summer they just have each other, and they have the time to work through hurts and forgiveness too. čĺŤ
Worked through hurts with these two and at the end asked them if there was something they could do to show love for the other person. I was thinking a hug or an ÔÇťI love youÔÇŁ, but after some discussion, they decided they wanted to buy each other a pizza čść Apparently pizza is our love language 菼 Afterwards they decided they wanted to make pizza dough from scratch together as a fun thing to do as friends ÔŁĄ´ŞĆ #pizzaistheanswer
