My friends I swear I’ll start posting other food other than my breakfast ....but for the purpose of this post,
LETS TALK CHEAT MEALS🥞:
I’m hear to let you know that it’s ok to indulge in a cheat meal every once in awhile (especially if it’s waffles from @rabbit_dash because let’s be honest they’re incredible 🤤). You have some options when it comes to cheat meals especially if you want to stay on track:
1️⃣ if you’re someone that counts macros, fit that meal into your day. You may not know exactly where you’re going, but think about what you’re craving and work your other meals around it.
2️⃣if you know you’re eating out, just make sure your other meals that day are a healthier choice! Plan on having lots of carbs later? Lower your crab intake for your other meals.
3️⃣ indulge in a meal that isn’t going to make you regret it later. (I’m horrible at this one) gluten intolerant ? Avoid it. I had a weekend filled with gluten and sugar because I just wanted to enjoy it and ended up feeling sick for about 3 days. Indulge but choose wisely.
4️⃣ENJOY IT. My friends, I know you’re on this incredible fitness journey with me but you’re allowed to go out and enjoy meals with your friends. One meal is not going to make or break your fitness journey (unless you’re on prep, that shits hard).
5️⃣ remember that food is not the enemy. Building up a good relationship with food makes those cheat days a whole hell of a lot easier. Learning what’s going to fuel you, but also satisfying those cravings once in awhile can create the happiest relationship with food.
This beautiful creation above is a Greek waffle 🤤🤤🤤
If you’re ever in the area you HAVE to stop at this coffee shop and try a waffle 🥞🥞
