Yosemite National Park
It's been a good 3 weeks being back home to say the least.
I feel different. I am different.
I like who I am right now. That is not to say I don't have bad days or find things that I still need to improve. But I have noticed that I bounce back a hell of a lot faster than I used to when I do get down. And with that, comes trust. I can push myself to go get uncomfortable and go through struggle. No matter how hard I fall, I know I can bring myself back to a level of content that I never knew of before. I have a power over my life by finally taking accountability for myself and the choices I make.
Life throws things at you, but you always have a choice to how you respond. It's your life, no one else's. So live it the way you want because at the end of it, you can blame whoever or whatever happened to influence it but know it was you who chose to live it the way you did.
So here's a reminder to celebrate progress, not perfection.
Take control of your life.
