Here’s an example of standardising form ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On the Romanian Deadlift, having two plates under each side of the bar and lightly tapping them ensures my range of motion is exactly the same every rep. Set to set and week to week. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Whats the point in doing this? When you’re tracking your lifts to ensure you’re progressing, an increase in reps or weight means nothing if form diminishes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you’re doing more weight but range of motion has decreased you may not have progressed at all, just traded ROM for weight. Urbana je legenda da je Roni nekada bio brz :) Kad osjetimo godine i stvari pomalo izmiču kontroli možeš pričati lovačke priče ili pokušati još jednom dokazati... Prije svega nešto moram učiniti da ovim mojim ložama koje su valjda najkraće na svijetu pa sam odlučio nakon zbilja jako puno godina početi sa rumunjskim mrtvim dizanjem... A nema boljeg momenta nego današnja pauza pred ručak iako sam spavao svega 3 sata, radio od jutra i nisam jeo od jučer... Kada je zaželiš kompletnog masakra onda se samo dohvatiš ovih istočnoeuropskih kombinacija rumunjsko mrtvo i bugarski čučanj, znači opet napad na tur auuu kao da nisam dovoljno asimetričan:) Uz sve sam odlučio raditi bez gurtni i sa supinacijama kako bi maksimalno anulirao rotacije trupa sa kojima imam problem što završi sa istezanjem lijevog erektora... Podigao šipku nekih 9-10 cm od poda... Krenuo polako... 60 pa 90 pa 110kg tražeći se u pokretu... Snimio 130x5, 150x3 i na kraju 180x1 Poslije bugarski 60kg nekoliko serija... Erektore ne osjetim lože i leđa i gluteus jako dobro... HOME WORKOUT w/ EQUIPMENT by @coachstrumos * Goblet squats are just like any other squat except you hold a dumbbell at chest height. The only trickier part here is to keep the dumbbell in place as you squat down. The weight can pull your chest down if you don't have it under control, but otherwise the same cues apply, squat low and keep the knees lined up with the toes. * Single arm rows require something to brace off of, in this case I used a chair but anything similar will do. Lean over and brace one hand on the chair while keeping your back flat. With the other hand drag your elbow up to the sky as you row the dumbbell up your body. Make sure your back is straight! * Romanian deadlifts are just like a regular deadlifts except that your range stops just below the knee. Start from a standing position with the dumbbells placed on your thighs, then slowly slide them down your leg until they pass your knees. From there drag them back up until you're standing tall again. The keys here are to keep your chest up so the back stays straight and to use your glutes as the primary mover. To do this focus on driving the hips forward on the way up and squeeze your butt. * The chest press starts on the floor with your elbows braced on the ground and the dumbbells in the air. From here it's as simple as pressing the weight to the ceiling. Just make sure to keep the elbows slightly tucked, you want to make a V shape with your arms as opposed to a T. * High plank obliques start in a pushup position with the hands underneath the shoulders. Then, one leg at a time, reach to the outside with your knee as if you're trying to touch your elbow on that side. Alternate legs back and forth. Keep the core tight and don't let the hips drop. * Choose an appropriate weight that gives you a challenge. Over time try to slowly increase the amount of weight you use. I recommended starting with 10-15 per exercise with minimal rest between exercises. Complete at least 3-5 rounds of each move. • Technique over technicalities...... • I am amazed that people spend so much time and energy disputing the difference between deadlifts and their correct names.... The stiff legged dead lift or the romanian dead lift...blah blah blah • Personally, I dont like either of these two exercises above ⬆️( as it stands on their TECHNICAL FORM), which is why I do my own variant of these exercises. I don’t get “too” technical and as long as my spine is neural, my muscles are firing and my knees are safe, I am happy. Below is NO WAY a technical breakdown of each variant - I can’t be bothered with that, that’s what google is for. But I have highlighted some key features which separates them from the rest or my variation. • ✨Conventional - my least favourite. On technicalities, this movement is just plain tough- maybe that’s one reason it’s not as popular as it should be. The conventional dead ranks high on the list of total-body movements because it works virtually every fiber in your physique. I rarely do these because I just don’t like them. I’d rather do other variants or squat !!! • ✨Sumo deadlift The sumo deadlift is a wide-stance deadlift where your hands are on the inside of your thighs. Knees bent, spine neutral. • ✨Sumo RDL Starts from floor. I prefer to start with the bar hanging as opposed to from the floor with a slight athletic bend in knee. Hip hinge needed. • ✨RDL (not featured) focuses on the eccentric movement and starts from the top (bar hanging) and each rep starts with bar hanging. • ✨SLDL - stiff leg starts from the bottom, bar on floor. (Each rep starts again with bar resting on floor) slight bend in knee, hip hinge, neutral spine. Again I like to start here with bar hanging. • Do what feels right for you. What works for your training, your body, your mood. If you don’t enjoy an exercise, mix it up, find an alternative. How to execute a deadlift -Stand behind the barbell with your feet hip-width apart. -Bend your knees slightly and grasp the bar in an alternate grip (one palm facing toward you, one palm away from you), just outside of shoulder width. Keep your knees in line with your toes, and your arms straight and back flat (a neutral spine), rather than a rounded spine. Shoulders should be in line with the bar, and keep gaze forward and downward. I officially have baby gainzzzz!!! Last week I couldn’t hold the bar through all 3 sets of these Romanian Deadlifts due to nerve issues- my wrist/elbow/bicep/lat have a trickle-down-nerve-cluster-f*ck (official medical term) making my post-surgery arm weak and uncoordinated. But this week was able to keep a strong grip AND add 5lbs! AND the PRP injection Dr. Hyde gave me for my torn hamstring tendon obviously worked!!! São apenas isso: sensações. ㅤ Esse apego excessivo às sensações gera uma série de consequências negativas, mas hoje vou citar uma: ㅤ ⚠ Dar prioridade a exercícios isolados quando não há nada que justifique isso. ㅤ No vídeo, estou fazendo #GlúteoComCaneleira, mas também fiz #agachamento e #RomanianDeadlift. Attention ladies and gentleman of the gyms and Classes... - One technique I see performed incorrectly on a regular basis 🙃 - Learning the RDL (Romanian deadlift) hip hinge- often done in pump classes. - To perfect the technique - Keep three contact points throughout the movement. - Hinge at the hips and push your butt back towards the back of the room until you feel the hamstrings working. - Keeping the back flat and knees soft. Drive your weight onto the back of your heels. - Once you perfect this then you can safely use load to work on the hamstrings and booty safely 😘 - Ensure you’re feeling the exercise in the hamstrings and glutes - not your lower back 😇

Stacco Rumeno, o #Rdl, o stacco a gambe semitese. È uno dei miei esercizi preferiti per i femorali, sempre usato con i miei velocisti. Allena l'estensione dell'anca come pochi altri esercizi, e coadiuva il lavoro di costruzione muscolare per tutte le donne interessate ad avere un gran bel sedere. Si può anche caricare un peso decente, una volta perfezionata la tecnica. Qui 10x50kg per @fe_marconifornari. Viene comodo usare le cinghie per evitare di cedere con la presa. Nell'esecuzione, per non trasformarlo in un mezzo stacco, gambe semitese, tibie verticali, peso sul piede, al massimo appena spostato sul tallone in discesa. Se si esegue correttamente, non si avverte il lavoro dietro il ginocchio e sulla schiena, ma solo nella "pancia" dei femorali.Notevole anche come lavoro posturale. 4 serie da 6-10 ripetizioni in uno dei giorni dedicati alla parte bassa del corpo, come esercizio di assistenza, idealmente nel giorno dello squat, se si dedica invece un giorno allo stacco da terra.

💥The Romanian Deadlift RDL 🇹🇩💥 Not to be confused with its buddy the Stiff Leg Deadlift SLDL is another movement that gets butchered. The RDL is an assistance exercise for the lower back and hamstrings. It's a partial movement from the top down that uses stretch reflex to benefit the hamstrings unlike any other pulling movement. Notice my shin position. There is a slight bend in the knee that remains the same throughout the movement. Having trouble with your Romanian Deadlifts, or grasping the hip-hinge movement? Try using a dowel or very light bar (5lb weighted bar pictured above). If my clients can't get the hip-hinge movement, I use this to make sure they're keeping points of contact with the bar, butt and low back, upper back, and head. It's also a great warm up for doing heaving weighted deadlifts, and good mornings.
