A WEEK IN REVIEW- 11/5/18 - 11/12/18
Last week was extremely eventful for the Grizzly Baird Fitness family. Measurements were a huge success, as most clients put a substantial dent in their long term aesthetic and performance goals.
Highlights: We identified a hip shift in @tiffyb_fit squat, assessed her SI joint, and began treating a cranky lateral line (a myofascial train that tracks up the side of the body) and gluteus medius. If this fairly simplistic approach does not correct her dysfunction, then we will dive into a more complex care plan. Additionally, Tiffany crushed a new deadlift 3RM by 20lbs, bumping her max to 185+ lbs! Way to go Tiff!
After making huge leaps and bounds in the weightlifting realm, @ifc.fitness started a new block that focuses on fine tuning his problem areas. We have incorporated a couple of positioning drills, including the one in this video, to reinforce stability in certain areas, and mobility in others.
Gabriela and Daniel (@gabrielafmoncayo and @danielgmoncayo) joined the Grizzly Baird Fitness family and are absolutely demolishing their goals. In just a couple of short weeks, both report that clothes are fitting more loosely and energy levels are up. Proud of you both! Keep it up.
