Texto de @darkside.science ・・・ Existem 4 razões frequentes que levam o praticante REGULAR de musculação a estagnar seus ganhos hipertróficos. . 1️⃣ Nutrição: Se você quer ganhar músculo, não deve ter medo de ganhar peso. Isso não é uma carta branca para sair comendo tranqueiras e engordando loucamente, mas um saldo calórico diário positivo é necessário se você precisa ganhar músculo (e não está tentando perder gordura simultaneamente). A maioria das pessoas trabalha bem com um excedente de 300-500 cal/dia, sempre acompanhados de uma boa oferta de proteínas e alimentos de qualidade. . 2️⃣ Intensidade: Para provocar adaptação é necessário que se crie a necessidade de adaptação. A falha muscular concêntrica não é condição sine quoi non para hipertrofia muscular, mas evoluir em dificuldade nos treinos através de cargas maiores, intervalos mais curtos, séries potencializadas e eventualmente através da falha muscular, é fundamental para provocar seu corpo a atingir um novo patamar hipertrófico. . 3️⃣ Periodização: Treinos com estímulos diversificados são eficazes em quebrar platôs. Quando comparados, protocolos que incluem periodização são superiores a protocolos monotonais em promover ganho de músculos. De tempos em tempos é preciso mudar para poder adaptar. . 4️⃣ Volume: Quando todas as outras variáveis estão equalizadas, nenhuma supera o volume. Se seu treino já é intenso, sua dieta está padrão, sua periodização está sendo seguida adequadamente e mesmo assim você não consegue aumentar o peso magro na balança, está na hora de aumentar o volume de treino. Mais séries, mais sessões, mais exercícios... isso dependerá do que vai ser proposto pelo seu treinador. Dificilmente alguém comendo bem, dormindo bem e seguindo uma periodização entrará em overtraining. . Bons treinos. . Procurem sempre um professor de educação física e um nutricionista esportivo.

Great question on smoothies. Whey vs whole foods. Like most nutrition answers, there isn’t a solid right or wrong approach. There are options for personal preference and purpose of preparing. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Quick reminders: 1. Smoothies are great for kids, but kids under the age of 18 do not need protein powders added (unless doctor ordered). 2. Whey protein is best for post workout smoothies, when the replacing of nutrients and repairing and strengthening muscle tissue is top priority. 3. Smoothie make great breakfast options, and are better than skipping main meals. But focus on forks over straws for the majority of your main meals. Using shakes for weight loss, will make you sad in the long run when the weight comes back, because you miss using a fork for food. With that said, athletes needing to bulk, they are great with or between meals to meet their individual goals. 4. Be mindful that you aren’t adding in unnecessary anything with fru-fru powders that promise more than they can actually deliver. It’s protein, not a mystical unicorn.

Losing just 2% of your bodyweight in water can have detrimental effects on strength and power, and the more you sweat, the more fluids you need to replace 💦. Regrann from @fischerbruno - Já viram alguém comendo basicamente isso o dia inteiro pra ficar grande?  E a sensacional variação para secar? Clara de ovo com brócolis... Uma vez conheci um maluco que havia enjoado de mastigar a batata doce com frango e resolveu bater tudo no liquidificador para poder engolir. Tá, mas pra que isso? ⠀ Fiquei matutando e cheguei a algumas conclusões: ⠀ 1) A preferência pelo peito de frango e  clara de ovo talvez é explicado por serem as proteínas animais com o menor teor de gorduras e a batata doce por ser uma boa fonte de carboidratos, e que supostamente tem um baixo índice glicêmico - IG (já falei sobre isso em outros posts). Mas diversas outras fontes de carboidratos também possuem baixo IG. O IG da batata doce cozida é cerca de 44. mas vejamos outras tipo de carboidratos: mandioca (40), arroz integral (48), pão de forma integral (42), macarrão cozido (43), aveia em flocos (39), farelo de aveia (28), banana prata (27), grão de bico (24). ⠀ 2) Mas por que a ingestão de fontes proteicas sem nenhuma gordura? Não existe fundamentação nenhuma para essa prática. Não significa que se ingerirmos pouca gordura necessariamente vamos acumular menos no nosso corpo. Cerca de 25-30% da nossa dieta deve vir das gorduras. Importantes vitaminas (A, D, E, K) são absorvidas apenas na presença de lipídios, além disso a produção de testosterona é feita a partir do colesterol. Não ingerir a quantidade ideal de gorduras poderá culminar em prejuízos para a saúde e ganho de massa muscular. Comer a clara e jogar a gema fora é sacanagem, nela são contidas grandes quantidades de caratenóis, vitaminas e colina (responsável pela cognição). ⠀ Uma dieta monótona inevitavelmente fará com que tenhamos carências de nutrientes, especialmente vitaminas e minerais, o que certamente poderá comprometer a saúde e prejudicar a performance. O segredo está no equilíbrio! Summer ☀️ is finally here and the weather is heating 🔥 up! This means long runs and lots of sweat. Coconut 🌴 water can be a great way to stay hydrated and get a high dose of potassium. However, compared to conventional sports 🏃 drinks, coconut water is lower in two of the main ingredients that a spent 😴 system needs after a tough workout: sodium 🥨 and carbohydrates. With only 9 grams of sugar 🍭 per 8-oz, it shouldn’t be used alone after strenuous (>60 minutes of intense activity) activity to replenish 🍞 glycogen stores. Try adding it to a smoothie 🥤with some fruit 🍓🥝🍌and a pinch of sea 🌊 salt. What’s your go-to post workout replenishment ?!
