Homemade ice cream attempt. I used almond milk not even a full cup like 12 ice cubes 2 tbsp jello cheesecake mix and two scoops Herbalife cookies n cream shake mix. I have a ton of it left and gotta put it to good use somehow 🤷🏼‍♀️. It’s actually pretty good a little liquid-y, but it curbs the sweet tooth. 147 calories for this whole bowl and I don’t think I’ll be able to eat the whole thing!

So the type of stretch’s I recommend for clients depends on whether they want to do post exercise recovery or to build flexibility. These two videos show the difference. First up is more traditional static stretching. Which is what I recommend for fighting stiffness from being soar. So do these ones @jmobmx to help you recover from your workouts The second video is what I recommend for increasing flexibility. This was slows you to flow a little more and move between positions. This means you can contract and put pressure through the muscle your stretching to it can maintain strength as you push it through its maximal range of motion. This helps maintain stretch and flexibility fighting off injuries. Day #21 + Day #22 ✅💪🏾😴! Pre-Rest Day and Make-up workout day! I postponed my leg day...I was tired and didn’t feel like it. But today was fire! 25 mins of cardio followed by a great leg workout. I knocked out the bear crawl w/Squats...they were a crawl for sure...rough, but 3 Sets of 12 Reps offered a serious quadricep burn! 💪🏾💥🤗 The Pistol Squats are showing me the need to increase my core strength & my hamstrings to get lower! I started the plank crawl, but my left wrist gave out. It hasn’t been easy, since my slip and fall a couple weeks ago on the ice. The leg lifts were great...3 Sets of 25 Reps! Yes, I will reduce this inner thigh cushion for sure! I continued the incorporation of dumbbells to steady myself for the mountain climbers! 2 Sets of 1 min cycles. What a workout after a full day! 🙌 . . Transformation Tuesday. Backwards transformation edition😒😏 Picture on the left is from June 2016. I found out I was pregnant at the end of July. By November I wasn’t getting to the gym regularly anymore. It’s been tough. I’ve had a few workouts during that time but it’s like, I can count how many on my fingers. So, not often. This shirt used to be pretty loose on me. Not anymore. I’m about 20/25 pounds heavier and I’ve got some habits to change. I’m working on me, but I’m not going to stress. 💥6 BEST DUMBBELL EXERCISES FOR EACH MUSCLE GROUP💥 - I'm a huge fan of using the DUMBBELLS. Nothing against barbells or machines, but dumbbells allow you to maximize the full range of motion on every exercise you do. You can also train each side of your body independently, which will help mitigate any weak points that you have. - 🙏That being said, picking up a pair of dumbbells at your local sporting goods store isn't going to do much for you. You have to actually DO the right exercises the right way if you want to see real results. Crazy right? - 👉There are thousands of different dumbbell exercises out there. In my experience as a trainer, these are the ones that I believe are the most effective for each of your six major muscle groups: - 1️⃣Shoulders => Arnold Presses 2️⃣Back => Bent Over Rows 3️⃣Biceps => Hammer Curls 4️⃣Chest => Decline Bench 5️⃣Triceps => Overhead Extensions 6️⃣Legs => Lunges - 💪These are mostly mass building exercises, so you'll want to keep your reps between 12-6 per set. Never forget where you started. This is the oldest scale picture I could find on my phone. It’s from the end of December 2014. This wasn’t even my highest, I had already lost some weight before this. If you look back at my journey, it’s been SLOW weight loss, but the important part was that it was consistent. It took me 4 months to lose 8 pounds when I was just starting. December 2014 - 280 April 2015 - 272 And it took me another 2 months to hit double digits. 11 pounds. June 2014 - 269 Jump to June 2016 and I was in the 230s. So what if it took 2 years! This isn’t a race. Yes, we all want instant results but that’s not reality. My journey has had so many hills and valleys and you know what, I keep going. Up or down - it’s onward. That goes for the number on the scale too. Yes, I could’ve done things differently, been more strict with my diet instead of allowing myself to indulge as often as I did, or work out everyday instead of a few times a week. But I knew I wouldn’t stick to that. I’d burn out, I’d feel deprived. You know as soon as you tell yourself you *can’t* have something that’s exactly when you want it most. For me, as long as I watched my diet most of the time, and made it to my classes and personal training each week, I stayed on track. I’m sort of forcing myself to get into the habit again. I love how I feel after a workout but I’ve gotten in the habit of not going and it’s so easy to let it get pushed aside while dealing with other life things. When I workout, I make better food choices too-Can’t undo all that hard work!! I’m making progress, it may be at a snails pace, but it’s progress. Strength training, power lifting, body building... whatever you want to call it, Everyone starts for a reason. Most, if not all, start because they want to look bigger, more muscular, or to gain confidence. I started back in high school because I was skinny and I knew I didn't want to be. Regardless why we started, the reason we continue is completely different. I for one, as well as a hundred other lifters can tell you that the sense of progress, self-betterment, and growth of discipline quickly take on a more important role than "getting big" ever did. ...And then there's nights like this. When going in and squeezing almost every last bit of glycogen out of your muscles sparks a somewhat "therapeutic" effect. Because no matter how crazy outside life is, and I'm sure we all know how that can be, the weight room remains simple. You go in, you pick up weight, and you put it back down. Though I had an amazing lift, and my endorphins were firing, my mental state was nothing but calm. Sometimes we could all use a little iron therapy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Anyway, here's me 3 repping my previous 1RM of 405.
