“We started the drive late in the afternoon and waited for all the vehicles to leave, as we were aware of the movement of the tigress. Once all the vehicles left towards the Jamni Meadows to see the hidden cubs, we waited for a few minutes observing the animals and their behaviour” says our Lodge Naturalist @rajeshshankar_reddy , sharing one of the most amazing safari experiences he had with our guests.
He continues, “To our astonishment, being unnoticed by the deer, a tigress walked across the fire line and quenched her thirst in the near by water puddle. It was surprisingly interesting that even after she walked for a long distance, we did not hear any alarm calls! She peacefully had a drink and walked behind our vehicle towards the meadows, to meet the cubs that she had left alone!’. Understanding the behaviour of the animals, is quite interesting when there is something extraordinary happening in the jungle.
