I want to skip this part of the warm-up EVERY SINGLE TIME It SUCKS. And it's only the warm up. I dislike mountain climbers, because they are super hard for me and make me lose my breath. However, I believe that if it doesn't challenge you, it will never change you. At the beginning of this 8 week program, I always slow down or had to take a break after the third set. Today I was able to make it through all 6! Progress, not perfection. I may not be the fastest, in best shape, have the best form but day by day, I get stronger and better than I was the day before. Took 3 days off to prep for my long run today. testing runners out to see if swapping will be beneficial at WTM. John is testing out running in his wetsuit. Going to attempt 4 Loops at Beaver Dam Trail at Hilton falls roughly 8 to 9 km each loop. Gonna hike one run one. It's cold today so that's probably a good thing. Im not feeling it today lol.... I remember that recurring feeling/thought... ⠀ The one that never failed to slip into a contagious state of frustration & negativity. The one that seemed to resurface in every rehab “team meeting” ... ⠀ It’s a seemingly small feeling that had MAJOR repercussions for myself, the team, and the company ... ⠀ 👉🏻 UNDER-APPRECIATION . It began with increased expectations/ increased productivity demands. Never enough! And It never failed to snowball for everyone... Decreased team moral. Decreased work ethic. Decreased desire to go above and beyond. Decreased passion and pride in what we were contributing. ⠀ The above has become “norm” in many of these types of jobs. Healthcare ain’t what it used to be. ;) Maybe that’s why coaching speaks to me so strongly. (One of the many reasons- I should say.) RECOGNITION is a cornerstone of this company, and an engrained piece of our team culture. ⠀ My favorite part? Every love language (read that book, if you haven’t) is checked off — Words of affirmations? Yep. Quality time? ✅. Physical touch? (My friends give THE best hugs🤣🤗) Acts of service: every day. The foundation of what we do. Gift giving? Every month if I show up for myself and my team. ☺️ ⠀ This photo was during a team retreat where every single love language was checked off, and I was so overwhelmed with JOY. ⠀ If coaching has taught me anything, it’s that those “norms” we’ve all witnessed in the workplace don’t have to be. . Of course people will doubt, but I’ve realized many just 1) don’t understand the legitimacy + positive impact this company has 2) they fear change. It’s not for everyone, I respect that fully, but I feel a responsibility to at least educate and share what it could do for my loved ones. ⠀ If this community, this opportunity, this freedom, this mission seems interesting to you - DM me! Painful memories? Here we go... Watching at the age of 7 as my dad cried in the hallway at the news of my grandfather’s unexpected passing. The insane pressure of comparison in childhood as an identical twin. The misplaced desire to fit in/inadequacy felt on that first day of middle school - after being homeschooled in 6th grade. Calling off a wedding with the one you love. The harmful effects of 30 years of people pleasing. Feeling left behind in life... Ouch. Random, but real and at one point- RAW. In my bible study, we were asked to share a memory of each life stage where we could remember suffering/pain of some kind. For me, that’s easy to do. Not because I dwell on the crappy parts of life... but because I have intentionally reflected so deeply on them over the last few years. ☝🏻 We were then asked to rewrite the list, but this time, write how each of those moments played a part in shaping you. Yes. Now THIS is my specialty. ;) Taking time to recognize how God has used it ALL- every single teeny, intertwined detail for our good. Some situations, I’m still in the waiting stage (“God, how will you use this?”)- but the trust is there bc his promises are too. And he’s proven himself again and again that his promise to turn ashes to beauty is NOT an empty one. Finally - “Reflect on your past experiences & lessons learned, and narrow down a few passions that have been born from these dark places.” I’m truly thankful that coaching gives me an avenue to reflect on this every single day. My passion is to share my experiences & the lessons I’ve learned THROUGH them in order to help others in whatever way I can. And coaching has provided a platform to do that. It’s cathartic for me to reflect, but most meaningful to know that my experiences & lessons learned are destined to help at least one other human who may be lacking direction or hope. Never before did I have a desire to use my voice like this, but the confidence has grown and so has my gratitude. For I know god can use ALL things/moments - even the terrifying, crappy, grief-stricken ones - for good. And doing my best to help others achieve this sense of hope seems like a good place to start.💙

👆🏻 A picture of me- not being able to shut up about why I’m so obsessed with coaching. 😂🙌🏻 ⠀ Fact about me: I’m someone who “measures once, cuts twice kind of girl”. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣 Meaning, I can be a bit spontaneous when I try something new, and do it without much analyzing. It’s just in my nature and how my brain works. 😁 ⠀ That’s actually how I joined coaching, believe it or not. I was a bit unconventional in my commitment. ⠀ 🤷🏻‍♀️ No, I didn’t research and understand the compensation plan first. 🤷🏻‍♀️ No, I didn’t research what a network marketing company was and what made Beachbody stand out. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And nope- I had no clue what the business model entailed. ⠀ ⠀ And to be honest- I’m thankful I didn’t. ⠀ Lord knows there’s enough people out there who associate MLMs with a bad stereotype. Either people simply don’t understand it or they’ve met others out there who have given the company a bad name. 🤷🏻‍♀️ #ithappens ⠀ ⠀ What I DID know (aka feel😋) and grew to learn was: ⠀ • This company felt legit and gave me all the good feels. ⠀ • The coach discount on the supplements they provided saved my sanity after a gall bladder removal surgery wrecked my body. ⠀ • One of the cornerstones of the company was none other than : personal development. #seriously ⠀ • The accountability group I was a part of from day one was full of acceptance and encouragement - and I wanted to provide that type of “safe corner of the internet” to my own family and friends. 💗 ⠀ • These at-home fitness programs WORKED. 💪🏻 ⠀ • This company’s integrity/mission made me proud. • The compensation plan is BANANAS for those who actually WORK. ⠀ • God’s timing is perfect. 🙌🏻 • Traveling opportunities arethe pretty great . 🌎 ⠀ • The mentorship available is outstanding. ⠀ • The community felt like family and made me want to be the best version of myself. ⠀ • and again- it FELT RIGHT. ⠀ So now- I just can’t shut up about it. 😭💗 why would I? it brings me so much freaking joy. ⠀ If you want any details on this company or what it entails- shoot me a message or comment below. How did I get so lucky?💗 ⠀ I would like to think it had something to do with the countless hours of prayer spent asking for my purpose to be revealed in a season of BIGGG question marks. ⠀ ⠀ Or the early mornings of gratitude journaling for what God has blessed me with as well as what I long for that has yet to come to fruition. ⠀ ⠀ Or the willingness (& courage) to show up - (even on the long days when I didn’t feel like it). ⠀ ⠀ Or daring to dream BIG and boldly of the vision of what “could be”. ⠀ ⠀ Or the desire to grow mentally/physically day in and day out... overcoming my crippling people pleasing tendencies. ⠀ OR the decision to link arms with other people who felt the same way. 🙌🏻🙌🏻 ⠀ These ladies make me want to be better, and 3 days under one roof only solidified my decision of investing my time/energy into this coaching thing. Simply put - I can’t imagine my life without this blessing (aka responsibility) of coaching OR these incredible people. And I don’t ever want to have to. 😭🤷🏻‍♀️ ⠀ I can’t wait to be able to spoil my own team this way next year. I EARNED this trip, but I can’t help but be reminded that we are all WORTHY of feeling this way. Loved, encouraged, pushed, optimistic for the future, gifted, fulfilled, free, with a heart (and the means) to give. ⠀ ⠀ Our circumstances, our past beliefs, our childhood - it’s all is mutually exclusive to the life we can dream of and the person we choose to be moving forward. It interests me to know what holds us back from stepping up to the plate to achieve that. Of course it’s different for everyone, and I think one of my favorite parts about this weekend was hearing how different each of my teammates’ stories were. We all came from different backgrounds with different journeys to get us here, but coaching was the common denominator. You can do it too if you crave a life of freedom financially and from the chains holding you back mentally/physically. Coaching has and continues to bless every area of our lives, and it’s not stopping anytime soon. Let me know if you have any interest in joining our next info session on what exactly it is we do. I have been overweight almost all of my adult life, so to finally take control of my health this last year on my own has been a very difficult journey to say the least. I moved to a new state and decided it is time for a new me. Losing over 100lbs since November of last year by just watching what I eat and exercising has really changed my outlook on life in the right direction. I am more positive, happier, have a ton more energy, and truly take each day as a blessing, another opportunity to make a change in the right direction. I have had many friends and family tell me how now I am their inspiration, which has to be the most rewarding part of this journey. Over the past couple of days, our house was overflowing with conversation, laughter, and overall fellowship. To welcome my Beachbody family into my hometown and my parent’s home is something I only dreamed of. These two made that happen, and I am beyond grateful. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 . To be hunkered down doing work at our local coffee shops across the table from each other, enjoying wine on the rooftop overlooking downtown, eating a simple dinner at my parents kitchen table, sitting on the floor talking essential oils with my mom (and the pups), working out alongside each other, drinking coffee on the porch, having late night girl talk, & endless conversations that oozed with personal development nuggets and strategies to help more people find a life of health and fulfillment... 😭I didn’t want it to end!! And to have my two worlds collide like this is everything to me. . Thankfully, I get to see both of these beautiful souls in the next month again. 😍 . To think these valuable friendships/experiences in my life would be nothing more than a dream without coaching BLOWS MY MIND. It’s a strange thing for this introvert to describe meeting life-long friends on the internet. All I can say is God has given us all gifts. He’s equipped us. All we have to do is use them to our fullest potential, and then be open to what God can do through that. THAT is what I think of when I picture career and calling meeting in the middle. And THAT is why coaching is one of the biggest blessings in my life. #noquestion

First birthday dinner of the weekend. And first time in a WHILE where I caught myself walking by the mirror like daaaaaayum 😳😂😂😍 . Don’t get me wrong. I’m all about feeling confident no MATTER your size, weight, all that Jazz- BUT- I’ll tell you- it doesn’t get much better than the confidence that comes with being able to rock whatever is in your closet after months of feeling discouraged/miserable. . For the first time in a long time, I took a compliment. My sister said “dude your legs look toned!” instead of the obnoxious “oh whatever”, I replied “thank you. I seriously feel amazing! ”. . Cause the truth is, personally - confidence comes with strength, with my health, and with the feeling that comes when I keep an important promise to myself. (I have my online accountability group to thank for a big piece of that!) . Almost done with week 5 of 8! This program is LEGIT. And so. Freaking. Manageable for busy peeps like me who crave freedom in life/health/fitness routine. . Thankful is an understatement. My workout left me extremely thankful for this post-workout recovery drink. Not just because it tastes like a Wendy’s frosty. 😍😉 . I took my trainer’s advice and upped my weights by 2-5 pounds and felt SO STRONG after two days of rest. 💪🏻 . I reminded my bootcamp ladies that we have the opportunity in this moment to determine the tone of our week. There will likely be plenty of circumstances out of our control, but keep in mind what is still left in our control after all of that. I bet you’d be surprised. 😉 learn from last week, use what worked and switch up what didn’t. That goes for my workout, nutrition, relationships, work ethic, productivity, you name it. 💙 this is life, and life isn’t perfect but we have much more control of our outcomes than we sometimes give ourselves credit for.

4 weeks in, 4 to go. 😳 . When I committed to this program, I was asked what I was most excited about. My answer was one word: FREEDOM. ❤️ I was in a MAJOR funk physically and mentally and needed to get unstuck without being tied down to anything. . Freedom for me equated to less stress. Less time. Less restrictions. Less negative feelings about not being “perfect” or following a program to a T. . With the program only being 4 days a week, 30-40 minute workouts and the nutrition plan being soooo dang simple (plus a treat day) - I had mixed feelings. (Like for real- how is THIS going to work when it seems nothing else will??) . Regardless, I saw the results from my friends who had completed it- and decided to go all in and trust in the process. 💕 . I haven’t been perfect, but I’ve done my best - and I can tell you as I reach the halfway mark, I’ve come to realize it’s not about perfection. It’s about finding a plan that works into your LIFE. Not about fitting your life around your fitness routine/“diet”. . I’m happy to say the word FREEDOM still rings true 4 weeks later. I have no doubt a big chunk of the results I’ve gotten have been because of the decreased physical stress I’ve put on my body. (Rest days are actually good for your results, imagine that. 🤷🏻‍♀️😋) But for real, I haven’t seen muscle definition like this ever. 💪🏻 . Anywho- small small SMALL changes and a commitment is all it took. My August virtual community is rocking it OUUUUT right now, and I couldn’t be more ecstatic to see THEM getting results too. 😭🙌🏻 . Results in so many forms are being celebrated. I’m thankful. 😭🎉 . The program is available till the end of the month at this price, and the excitement about it is palpable. There’s something about living out of a suitcase - even a couple of days a week - that is strangely freeing & lonely at the same time. Good thing being alone with my thoughts doesn’t scare me. 😂😂 (maybe it should?!🤣) . Out to find some dinner after a coach mastermind call where a few coaches I look up to and I hop on weekly to touch base with biz stuff. We share about how many lives we are touching/people we are helping this week and encourage each other through the ups and the downs of our own lives! . Some people look at my schedule and tell me I need to slow down to fill my cup. The ironic thing is 1) self care is one of the biggest cornerstones of the company I work for and can come in many different forms for each of us 2) spending time with these people truly fills my cup. It doesn’t drain me in the least. . I guess that’s what it feels like when your calling + your work align? Truly grateful tonight thinking of the lives that have yet to be touched by this blessing/opportunity. 😭❤️

Nothing like some goal setting on the first day of the month. Especially when it’s your birthday month, and you realize time isn’t slowing down for anyone/anything! . I was listening to a podcast on my commute this morning about how hard it is for people to adopt this idea of making goals and sticking to the actions it takes to achieve them. . @tonyrobbins spoke of how so many of us get tripped up in the very beginning because we are so concerned about the HOW. Fear and doubt creeps in because the task or journey looks daunting when you get caught up in how you’ll achieve something. . He said this: it’s the WHAT and why that matters. Instead of HOW, we should start with what. What is the result I want to produce and WHY. You can figure out the how if you know what and why! . Reasons come first and answers come second.👌🏻 . If you have a big enough why, you can figure out how to do anything. So I’m quitting the “what will I do? I don’t know how? What if I fail?”. The most successful people had no clue how they would accomplish things, they just knew they wanted to and problem solved along the way. . Where to start?? He used this acronym: RPM👊🏻 RESULT -what is your desired outcome? - PURPOSE - your why - MAP- MASSIVE ACTION PLAN - create a plan with actions and highlight the top 20% that will get you what you want. Then tweak as needed. . Time to set those goals, my friend! Our future is on US. No one else will care about your goals and dreams the way you will. Which means no one will work for them if you don’t. 😘
