Full video on Facebook. Exercise selection for Body composition goals. For all the beginners please work with your trainers to get used to movement patterns and neuromuscular adaptations(lifting adaptations) to get your weight lifting forms and techniques right. Choose compound,multi joint, big muscle groups and total body workouts over your isolation (small and single joint movements) for muscle gain, fat loss goals. Glycogen depletion, exercise induced muscle damage, increased core temperature and heart rate and you burn tonne of calories while performing the big movements The calorie requeriment in the form of carbs and protein is quite high to recover from these and nutrition partitioning specially carbohydrates which can be utilised for glycogen replenishment without them being stored as body fat. Body fat is nothing but your energy reserve which is saved for later use which we modern humans( did I use the right terminology or I just made it up) never use I suppose as we are surrounded by food choices and we eat more than we suppose to and we eat before we even get hungry( mostly in the form of snacks) Do you need to do a direct work on small muscles like biceps, triceps and abs. Yes you can if you have time to spare but if you want to maximise your given time in gym you are better off doing multi joint total body unsupported exercises. As any pull movements your bicep( elbow flexors) are worked and any push movements your tricep( elbow extensors) are worked and with the unsupported big movements your core muscles ( abs are a part of the core) have to stabilise the movement. If you are carrying more body fat no matter how much direct abs workout you do, they won't be visible until you reduce body fat%. So hopefully this helps on what exercises to prioritise when achieving for body composition, your muscle to fat ratio. It was a year back when I met him in Delhi and just told him you have put on a lot of weight , start working out he started it but it was not very serious one , but after constant motivation everyday by me And his wife made him to take fitness seriously and you can see the results! I just guided him on the nutrition part & told him the dos and don't in workouts! The rest all was his hardwork ! He never complained he did what all I told and he was very much happy with result. Part of sharing my journey with others is being completely honest with you, and that means sharing my failures as well as successes. This week I have not checked in to my fitness or nutrition at ALL!! I was in New York this past week and ate like a pig. Not only that, I ate all of the bread and pasta. Two things I know make my stomach feel icky but I did it anyway. With the holidays approaching I don't want to feel yucky. I want to enjoy myself but not be miserable. We all know that feeling you get when you overindulge during Thanksgiving and Christmas. You don't have to take it that far. I used to think that I was doomed to gain weight as part of the "college experience", the "holiday splurge" and/or my "transition to womanhood" 🙈 And that I had no choice but to accept it and move on.😔 {because I told myself I literally had tried "everything" to lose the extra pounds and gain confidence but it wasn't working}. ➡️ I was low energy, feeling very self-conscious and just not happy with where I was at or where I was going. I DESPERATELY needed a change. . What I didn't realize was I was seeking joy, fulfillment and confidence in myself in ALL the wrong places. Letting other people or situations determine my value/self-worth. I was literally a hot mess 🙈. . Believe me. I know what it feels like to be self-critical. To nitpick every single detail or flaw you see in the way you talk, what you do, how you dress, and how you carry yourself. 👉🏼 I have BEEN there (and bought the t-shirt) MORE times than I'd care to admit. . But let's face it >>>I'm human<<< 👉🏼And I often let what others and the media told me keep me down, hindering my chances of change, and more importantly GROWTH. . You see. Being fed up with where you're at? Refusing to settle for feeling unhappy? That is one of the hardest, most challenging times of your life, but it is ALSO a chance for growth🌱 . That first year pharmacy student on the left had NO IDEA that the way she was living and feeling wouldn't be her reality forever. But I am OBSESSIVELY GRATEFUL that she decided to choose hope, choose faith in herself, and invest time and resources into her own well being. {After all, the girl on the right stands before you today BECAUSE of what the girl on the left went through.} . I've seen and experienced the struggle of "not enough" and of feeling like you're just "existing", and I'm here to tell you it does NOT have to be that way. . Choose yourself. Every day. Find what works and doesn't work for you through trial and error. And simply FAIL FORWARD. You'll make mistakes, you won't be perfect. But by deciding to work on you every day will lead to a transformation that is like none other (mentally AND physically). ➡️ My next support group starts 11/27, and I would LOVE to help you!

What is your ideal body fat where you are happy and not severely restricting yourself and sustain it. Satish Paryada Mine is happy 12 % wat is yours. It is important for a Trainer to first be trained before he trains clients. To explore and know how exactly it feels like and in the process of trying to go into the super low range of fat percentage. It definitely isn't easy, you need a lot of discipline and a lot of restricted diet that could also be a lot of health complications. The picture was taken while Satish paryada was 7% Body Fat, he was in a way starving himself. For a short period of time, yes this works! But one cannot keep their body fat percentage low for a longer duration. Satish has done this because want to see before we could preach.. Plyometrics is the best exercise to build power, speed and explosiveness. Box jumps is the best exrecise and its functional and more sports specific. It is high intensity interval training and if you are short on time and wanna burn ton of calories then box jumps would be your go to exrecise to create the EPOC (excess post oxygen consumption ). EPOC is ideal to create an environment in your body to burn calories for the next few hours after your session. Be careful slowly build up your jump, it took me years and a broken shin to master the move. Full video on Facebook page Lean Bodies by Satish Paryada. Episode 2 Talking about *Training Frequency* Master Trainer Satish Paryada. How often do you need to be training in the gym and how much time does your body need to recover from all the damage and change that your body undergoes after one effective workout session? To know the answer you should first understand the process your body goes through in between your workout sessions. If not fully recovered you are actually not letting the body grow to its potential. Your performance inside and outside gym suffers a lot, your adrenal glands and central nervous system is overworked, free radical build up, depleted glycogen, nutrients and electrolytes. Instead, give enough time, plenty of rest and nutrition to let that recover from the stress you have put in for the session. Accommodate active recovery session in the form of cross training (using different cardio machines), keep your heart rate monitored to condition your cardiovascular system which also plays a crucial role in speeding up your recovery process then again don't empty the tank. Program and structure your workout schedule to get the right amount of stimulus/overload i.e., is the key for you to perform better than your last sessions and the muscle to grow. 3 to 4 strength training sessions complimented with 1 or 2 active recovery sessions a week with enough intensity and volume should be more than enough in your body composition goals If not injury potential, fatigue build up and poor performance hence poor results. Take a step back from overtraining and put more emphasis in right nutrition and recovery strategies. A certified and knowledgeable coach always comes in handy for you to reduce the guess work and periodize your workouts. This was after 45 mins 6 sets each of barbell overhead presses, weighted pullups and hang cleans Try this and let me know how you feel Last minute session cancellations from clients(Saturday late nights is always the case) will give me a space to sqeeze in my trainings. Allocating a designated time for my training is thing of a past. I tried to avoid the 22.5 as it was used by others but Sebastian rushed in to make the 22.5 available, probably he likes to see me in little pain lol. Plateau breakers play a key role to give the variety which breaks the monotony of strength training. The #TransformationStories: The next TWO stories I have to share with you today are VERY special. They are not just stories of weight loss. They are true stories of HEALTH and of TRUST. This first story is of this beautiful woman right here. She TRUSTED me enough to make a change. To make a change to the way she cooked, to the groceries she brought into her home. And to make a change by adding fitness into her daily life. Now these were some big changes. She is an AMAZING cook and can cook some AMAZING delicious things...I've tasted them and I can attest, they can be tough to say no to. But together we found a plan that works, for her. We found, you don't always have to say NO. But you do often have to say YES. She has said YES...and WOW! Her journey is just AWESOME! I started off by telling you that a Transformation is not always about weight loss and that is true...stick with me here. But she did have TRAMENDOUS weight loss. A whopping 19 pounds since this summer!!! And that is with a nutrition plan and fitness plan that works for her life. Now for the BEST part of the story...her cholesterol had always been borderline over 200. And NOW...DOWN to 170!!!! 💖 And it keeps going. She is looking at food differently now.
