I guess since I'm not sure where to start, I'll start with something that has no beginning or end: Cycles. As humans, we operate in a line; we make something, we use it, we throw it away. However, Earth doesn't work like this. Over billions of years, matter and energy have perfected systems in which nothing is wasted. Eneegy and matter constantly flow through closed systemz to provide the building blocks of life. And here we are with several centuries of knowledge completely ignoring the most intelligent teacher in the solar system, our planet. It is important to consider what you consume, where it comes from, and whether or not you're consuming in cycle, or a line. You can start this change by opting to use dish rags instead of paper towels, beginning a compost in your backyard, or avoiding plastic packaging that isn't recyclable. A linear society leads us to a future like Wall-E's.
