"Malaika is perhaps the most famous cheetah in Maasai Mara. Cheetahs are the only big cats that hunt during the day and judging from the size of her tummy, she probably didn't catch any prey that day." Image captured by @ramachandirangovindaraj. Shot on the EOS-1D X Mark II with the EF500mm f/4L IS USM at 500mm, ISO 200, f/4.0, 1/1000s. #canonasia

"This calming sunset greeted me when I looked out the window during a hectic meeting. My project mates and I dropped everything for a moment to soak in the sight. It was a timely reminder to not let the stress of life bury the beauty around us." Image captured by @sebshooots. Shot on the EOS 80D with the EF-S18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS at 18mm, ISO 100, f/6.3, 1/30s. #canonasia

"It's not difficult or expensive to create a light painting. I used transparent tape to cover a regular torchlight with colored mica paper. Then I got my friend to slowly walk around the subject to create clear light trails, while I took a long exposure shot. All the equipment I used can be easily found in stores, so everyone can try it!" Image captured by @naufall.opang. Shot on the EOS 7D at 10mm, ISO 100, f/5.6, 20s. #canonasia

Stronger than all Wi-Fi signals, the best wireless connection in the world is the one between a mother and her child. Happy Mother’s Day! #canonasia

"This spot in Paragon is a photographer's playground. The perforated metal parapets cast really striking shadows on the ground. I love playing with light and shadows, and was drawn to how the three colours of lights interacted with the shadows in this composition. Lastly, I got my friend to pose to create a focal point for the image." Image captured by @seathebreezee. Shot on the EOS 5D Mark IV with the EF11-24mm f/4L USM at 11mm, ISO 640, f/22, 10s. #canonasia

"This was shot at Pulau Kenawa in Sumbawa, Indonesia during the golden hour. The soft glow of the sun complemented the rounded shapes of the knoll and the tufts of grass to create a very "comfy" photo. I got my girlfriend to walk along the path to create a focal point for the image and snapped the shot just as a flock of birds flew by for some movement!" Image captured by @joshuafooo. Shot on the EOS 70D with the EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM at 25mm, ISO 400, f/8.0, 1/800s. #canonasia

"Shooting at 24 metres underwater is challenging for a couple reasons. One, it's difficult to handle photo equipment while navigating the depths. Two, my limited oxygen gave me only 20 minutes to set up my camera and lighting. Three, people underestimate how dark it gets underwater. I had to use two 9000 lumen video lights and an ISO speed of 4000 to get this shot! I lit my subject from the back and the left side." Image captured by @bubarabiru. Shot on the EOS 5D Mark III with the EF8-15mm f/4L FISHEYE USM at 12mm, ISO 4000, f/8.0, 1/160s. #canonasia

"I sighted Malaika again the very next day, resting in the bushes with her two young cubs. There was a tiredness in her eyes that I found beautiful and sad at the same time. I managed to snap this close-up from a safe distance with the help of my 500mm lens." Image captured by @ramachandirangovindaraj. Shot on the EOS-1D X Mark II with the EF500mm f/4L IS USM at 500mm, ISO 400, f/5.6, 1/800s. #canonasia

"The frozen surface of Lake Suwa in Nagano, Japan finally cracked after the long winter and the wind had blown the cracked ice to the shore. I wanted to contrast the jagged texture of the ice against the fluffy clouds, so I used a wide-angle lens to exaggerate the shape of the ice shards in the foreground." Image captured by @aki_naka1. Shot on the EOS 5D Mark IV at 15mm, ISO 100, f/11, 1/250s. #canonasia

"Paradise—that was the word that came to mind when I saw this view from my plane window. I was returning from a trip to Leh Ladakh, India when we passed over the Himalayas. The majesty of the Tso Kar Lake and the Indus River almost moved me to tears! I had saved for a year to buy an EOS 5D Mark IV just before this trip, and this shot made it worth it." Image captured on @prudhvichowdary. Shot at EOS 5D Mark IV at 88mm, ISO 320, f/9.0, 1/1250s. #canonasia
