In 201& let's commit to focusing on nurturing relationships rather than using people/connections/platforms to help further our mission. It's amazing how we will contact others wanting to connect and once the event is over there is no further contact. Nurturing both personal & professional relationships are essential to growth, expansion & accumulating wealth. Sure you may have gotten booked to speak at their event, but there's always another. Then what? Take a moment and send an email or mail a thank you card to express sincere thanks for being considered & do what you can to nurture the relationships. Coming to speak once is okay but the key is to get invited back. I see A LOT of people doing this & we must do better!
