Today has been a good (and productive) Sunday... except for the fact that I’m dreaming about this dinner from @sweetbeetbistro 😍 This restaurant uses amazing fresh and local ingredients which i love!🍴😋 who would have thought to add figs and green olives to this chicken cooked in red wine😍 // carrot and feta salad & farro 😛

as finals week approaches, keep in mind that everything is going to be okay at the end of the day💗 if you study and plan a work schedule I guarantee that you will be successful! at some point today i want all of you to treat yourself to something; whether it’s self-care or indulging on your favorite snack— you deserve it. attempted to post this yesterday but it failed... sunday night “take out” 😋 Jake and I went to @thefreshmarket to find healthy goods for the rest of the day.. tbh this took me about an hour to decide on😂 👉🏼 pecan, feta, and cran salad 🥗 with a carob @perfectbar and venturing out to try pomegranate @healthade 😛 Question of the day: what is your favorite thing to pick up at the grocery store?! good morning foodies 🤗 playing Christmas music this morning and eating breakfast by the tree, what’s better than that?! Last night before falling asleep I started reading “do less” a book about minimalism. It’s honestly making me realize how much I can enjoy life without piling my closet with clothes and room with “stuff.” A habit of mine is that I just want to throw everything out- but instead, I’m going to use these things from now on and just BUY LESS here on out ☺️ I’ve always been interested in simplifying my life and this book is definitely guiding me through. @fitnessbyang I think you would enjoy this book as well! dairy free apple crumble anyone? (& a message to my foodies!) Happy Thanksgiving everyone! You asked for the recipe last night, so I gave it to ya, but incase you didn’t catch it here ya goooo: Thinking of a dessert that you don’t mind eating to bring to your families house? Don’t worry, I have ya covered 😋 Guilt free apple crumble at your service 🙃 In one bowl: - cut 4 apples into cubes - sprinkle 2 tsp cinnamon - squeeze 1/4 fresh lemon In another bowl: - melt 3 tbsp coconut oil - a little less than 1/4 cup of organic honey In a separate bowl combine: -2 cups of old fashioned oats -1/4 tsp of salt -2 tbsp milled flax seeds Pour the melted ingredients into the oat bowl Place apples in a pan (spread coconut oil too) Fill the oats in on top Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes Enjoy it warm 🙃🥧 🍎 & lastly a message to my foodies: I am beyond blessed to have you all here!
