Rise and Shine fam! It’s Monday and you know I LOVE my Mondays - the start of a brand new week and goals to smash! Even though I’m knucking fackered from Lil Workout Buddy’s 2nd birthday shenanigans (no, the ‘2’ balloon is not mine 🤷🏾‍♀️🤣)I’m up and Workout is done by 6am as usual...because I show up no matter what - that’s that consistency that will get me the results I want! 🍒CHERRIES!🍒We had no idea there was a cherry tree in the back garden when we bought our new house earlier this year - we’re still in the middle of renovating it (LONG ASS STORY for another day 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️) but hubs harvested some of these beauties this morning and they’re sweet & juicy AF - makes up for the drawn out renovation process, a lil bit 👌🏾😆➡️➡️SWIPE➡️➡️

Happy Friday Fam! Everyday you get to open your eyes and rise up to live life is a GREAT DAY! . . Life is what you make it - yesterday my mind was in a really negative place and I struggled with everything...started doubting my abilities as a person, wife and mother. I went to bed last night feeling pretty low. . . . We ALL have those days fam...but today is a NEW DAY! I got to wake up and take breath again and for that I am grateful and starting today off with a POSITIVE MINDSET. . . . I am worthy. I am good enough. I just have to believe it. And SO ARE YOU! It’s ok to have self doubt sometimes but DONT STAY IN IT. Re-centre, re-focus and get back on this ride called life...it’s only one way, no returns or refunds! It’s World #SelfieDay apparently 🤷🏾‍♀️ Good job I took my usual gratuitous post-workout selfie this morn then 🤳☝🏾👌🏾🤣 Today’s 25 minutes was a Pyramid - each move increases by one rep up to 8 or sometimes 10...arms and shoulders were on fire by the end of this move but I’m starting to feel those gainz that come with lifting weight 💪🏾 Hope you all have a great Selfie Thursday Fit Fam 🙌🏾

I don’t take for granted the fact I’ve been blessed enough to be able to breastfeed both my babies. . . Lil Workout Buddy fed until he weaned himself at 10 months old and Lil Pudding is going strong at 4 months old. . I’m a firm believer in ‘fed is best’ but I always knew I wanted to breastfeed not only because of the health benefits but also because of the amazing bonding experience it brings...not to mention I’m cheap so not having to buy formula is a welcome bonus 😃 . . This is why I’m super happy to celebrate #nationalbreastfeedingweek and encourage other mamas to be confident and proud in something that is so natural, beautiful and beneficial to both mother and baby. . . We must never be ashamed of feeding our babies, wherever we are. Anyone who has a problem with it needs to self-reflect and question why they take issue with a mother feeding her child. . . That also goes for the reverse - no mother should be ashamed to feed her baby with a bottle either. A fed and healthy baby is what is most important. . . I’ll continue to feed Lil Pudding as long as I’m able - or until she decides she’s had enough...or bites me 😫🤦🏽‍♀️🤣. . Did you breastfeed your baby and for how long if you did? Would love to hear about your journey and experiences ☺️

Finally got to finish this superb read in the flight home this weekend. I rarely get a moment to read these days since Lil Pudding arrived - 2 under 2 is a lil cray 😜 But I reckon I’d have read this in a couple days otherwise - it’s that good! Who wants to settle for average when you can aim for GREAT?! To think that I never once read or listened to personal development before I started my side-hustle last year...now, I make it my business to read at least 10 pages or listen to at least 30 minutes a day. As well as feeding our bodies with quality nutrition we should also be fuelling our minds with quality, positive content each day. I can honestly say that since I’ve been doing this, my mindset has completely changed and I have never had a more positive outlook on my life and future. Do you do personal development? What are your fave reads? I need a new one!!
