Do you ever see those accounts on IG that say that literally every workout they do left them “DEAD” or that they “can’t walk”??😒🙄 Well I’m here to tell you that, despite how these people portray their world-NOT EVERY WORKOUT IS GONNA LEAVE YOU WADDLING!! I feel like so many people talk about how they died during their workout just for something to say or to prove that they’re pushing themselves. NEWSFLASH- you don’t need to leave every workout deceased. Ya- push yourself at the gym and don’t train like a pussy if you want to see progress. But just because you’re not walking with a limp like an old school pimp doesn’t mean you’re not givin’ ‘er! Stop comparing yourself to these people that are constantly talking about how hard they are pushing- chances are that if they are talking about it every day ITS NOT SECOND NATURE TO THEM YET! Set goals, stay in your lane, put in the work, and stay humble! If you are consistently pushing yourself your results will speak for themselves-enough said. . WHEN YOU CAN’T STAND UP AFTER LEG DAY!! ^^^^ FILL YOUR LIFE WITH SO MUCH LOVE AND PASSION THAT THERES NO ROOM FOR ANYTHING ELSE! Been feeling SO strong at the gym lately and I don’t know if there’s more of an empowering feeling. I have my eyes on my goal and I’m GOING FOR IT. There’s a lot of challenging things going on in my personal life right now and it’s crazy that using the ED to cope doesn’t even cross my mind. Instead I just want to put my blinders on and focus on my goals and what makes me feel good. If you’re going through a tough time I totally urge you to revise what you’re passionate about and direct your energy there! No- I’m not telling you to ignore your problems... but focusing on building the new instead of dwelling on the unfixable old is an incredibly empowering feeling! What do you love? Hormonal acne? VULNERABLE POST SO BE KIND!💜 Trying to keep it real with y’all. It was brought to my attention that I 100% hide my acne on instagram but it’s a HUGE reality for so many people (especially after recovery) so here we go! As you might know I got my period back in March after not having it for 6 years. This was obviously a huge #recoverywin but it also came with extreme hormonal acne. This acne has only worsened since then. These spots are not only painful but also send my BDD into a tailspin. I know I am valuable and beautiful even with this new acne but I can’t deny that I feel incredibly down on myself. SO I AM ON A MISSION TO CURE MY HORMONAL ACNE!! I wanted to include you all in this journey because 1) I KNOW I’m not the only one that’s gone through this 2) I WISH that I knew that it was a common effect of recovery so that it didn’t make me feel so ashamed and 3) to remind you that Instagram can totally be an illusion and that NOBODY is perfect. Really- I’m just 100%into helping at least one person feel less alone! Seeing a doctor and a naturopath this week and will keep you posted for the game plan! Let’s heal together dudes! . As of right now-I already eat quite a clean diet and take incredible care of my skin. I use my @freskincare (code= SR ) daily and it clears all of my spots that aren’t hormonal 🙌🏼but unfortunately hormonal acne can not be cured topically. I’ve introduced @shopturmerical to reduce inflammation and it’s helped heaps-When I stop taking it my face actually HURTS. So @shopturmerical is my biggest recommendation thus far- STAY TUNED AND LOVE YOURSELF, FRIENDS! Ps- I use @makeupforeverofficial foundation to hide these spots . #hormonalacne #instagramvsreality #nobodyisperfect

When I struggled with my ED I used starvation as self sabotage because I didn’t think that I could accomplish my goals, finish school, or hold a job. I figured if I was physically unwell that nobody would expect good things from me. Well guess what? I’ve learned and now FULLY believe that my potential is endless and SO IS YOURS!!! You just gotta keep reminding yourself that NOTHING is impossible and you ARE extremely capable. Transformation Thursday inspired by @katysurfs .... 6 months, 50lbs, and an ocean of tears between these photos... Photo on the left I was just leaving the gym. I thought I was doing LIT in recovery because I was “strong enough” to go to the gym again... (I couldn’t even open my eyes and my lips are cracked to shit- TF?) little did I know at the time that my workouts were still fuelled by self hate and NEEDING to change my body. If you are in recovery or even if you are on a different fitness journey I want to encourage you to explore WHY you are exercising. Rule of thumb: if you feel that you NEED to change opposed to being gracious for what you HAVE and wanting to give it love then you need to take a step back. I want to use this post to remind y’all that exercise is a fucking gift to your body and something to be incredibly grateful for. Exercise because you love yourself and because you see your potential! Don’t flatter yourself- you’re not the first person to get to a point where you feel the obstacle you’re facing is greater than your capability. I’m right here with ya! As you know-I’m bulking AF right now OKURR. And it’s HARD. It’s uncomfortable being full and seeing myself get fluffier. I’ve recently hit a point where I’m like WOAH I NEED TO STOP BECAUSE THIS IS TOO SCARY. But like- how WRONG is that? I set my goal for a reason and I knew it’d be scary. You in the same boat? Here’s some steps to smashing👊🏽👊🏽 through that wall!! 1️⃣sit down and refocus on WHAT the goal is and WHY you set it! Chances are: the reward of reaching the goal is far greater than the fear you’re currently facing! 2️⃣break down the steps required to get you the rest of the way to your goal! I bet you’re closer than you think; tangible lists make everything less daunting! 3️⃣brainstorm some of the the potential barriers you will face. If you expect the barrier it will be easier to rationalize pushing through it once you get there! 4️⃣reach out to friends and family for accountability! Tell them that you’re having a hard time. Tell them your goal. And tell them to NOT LET YOU QUIT! 5️⃣WRITE IT DOWN! Be accountable for your damn self. How comfortable am I in my body? Depends what day you ask me. Some days I got the “kiss myself I’m so pretty” vibe. Some days I’m more “Did I swallow a baby hippo?” And then there’s the days where it’s more “how am I still pinner?”... moral of this story- your appearance is the least interesting thing about you.Take a chill pill and remember that how you feel about your body is a fluid concept: it SHOULD NOT effect the type of person you are. WHAT IS ONE GOAL YOURE WILLING TO BE UNCOMFORTABLE TO REACH?? As I spend the entire day tuning in for updates from USA’s ( @paigereilly And @adisonbarnhart I’m cheering for yall babes 💕) I’m so incredibly inspired by all the athletes competing who give such a high level dedication to themselves. The hard work put in by all competitors serves as a reminder to me that reaching a goal is ALL about dedication discipline and very minimally about motivation. If you rely on motivation to go to the gym, follow a mean plan, gain weight, save money, or WHATEVER IT IS- I’m sorry you will probably not reach your goal. You will not be motivated 24/7; as a matter of fact some days you will want to run in the opposite direction of your goals. This is where dedication and discipline come in. PSYCH MEDS?🤔🤔 As of today I am 6 months free of psychiatric meds and I am SO proud. Don’t get me wrong- I totally believe in the necessity and value of these medications and am the first to admit that taking these medications saved my life(#endthestigma)!!! HOWEVER: I always knew that, personally, being medicated was not meant to be long term. It’s no secret to anyone that knows me personally that I misused and abused my medications to skip meals, intentionally make myself sick, try to end my life, to come down from whatever street drug I was using at the time, or to numb out every possible emotion I could’ve been feeling; so, needless to say, it was scary for me to keep the necessary drugs in my house. I knew I wanted to stop taking them but also knew I was nowhere near stable enough to do so. NOW I am at a point where my depression, BPD, anxiety, insomnia, and OCD are ALL under control without the use of meds. I DID THAT! I EARNED THIS SUCCESS, STABILITY, AND FREEDOM! And for that reason: I can say I’m tremendously proud to not be on ANY of these medications any longer. 💖 HOW DID I DO IT? Honestly- as shitty as this might sound: TAKE YOUR MEDS UNTIL YOURE READY TO STOP. The only way I was able to stop taking them was to be sure that I was stable WITH them first. I had to experience what healthy brain chemistry FELT like in order to recognize it and maintain it on my own. Don’t be afraid of staying on medication if it’s helping you but also don’t doubt your capability without medication!
